Are the cage holes big enough to put your hand through? I'd like to punch a shark in the nose if given a chance.

I’m reading the CNP Herald. On June 4, police rescued a young man chased up a tree by an aggressive moose while fishing.

He was probably not interested in engaging but he was definitely not at all scared or concerned about our presence.

Whenever I see a lone coyote, I always do a 360 scan for the rest of them crawling through the grass at me.

It’s estimated that there are one to two fatalities in Canada from dog attacks yearly.

The prairie provinces had the highest incidents of fatal dog attacks.

Dogs. About as dangerous as bears.

Who wins in a fight. Two male chimps armed with a spear and a bucket, or a kodiak grizzly with a limp?

The problem with dogs is people own them, and people suck.

Plus they live in and around people, whereas bears live in the wilderness by themselves mostly.

Bears used to live in the wilderness, until we built condos in their living room.

Oh please. You don't think other animals live where your house is now?

People can live wherever they want. We make nature work around us everywhere.

I think there was a bear den or two in Canmore where you and your friends BMXed around before paths, streets, houses, firehalls, restaurants and Safeways are now as well.

Not looking good for Grizzlies I’m afraid.

Oh, for sure. Which is why I'm OK living with them.

I'm jealous. That's on my bucket list of things to do one day. I never will...no hope in hell of ever affording it. But damn would that be awesome.

Ideally in a bare ass wet suit so within the safety of my cage I can scream Suck my White Ass Shark.

You okay with more development around Canmore so other people can be okay living with them, too?

We had orcas swim under our sailboat in the gulf islands. That was freaky.

Agree - huge phobia for me. The dark ocean in general. We had a humpback whale breaching right beside our boat in Tofino. Scary but also amazing.
