only saw the first half of United-Spurs, looks like I missed a hell of a finish. Hope Sesko's injury isn't too bad. Sucks that, for the second game in a row, United had a 1-0 lead at halftime, but then conceded twice and had to salvage a point in the end. Then again, they're unbeaten in 5, so I'll take that. Next up are Everton (H), Palace (A), West Ham (H) and Wolves (A) ... the kind of fixtures that have been trap games for United, so I'm curious where they'll be at Christmas after those games.
Mbeumo has been an unreal signing. Quality player.

They are value for money in terms of entertainment.

VAR needs to be more consistent
That's probably not a penalty for City in any other game today based on other VAR decisions

Liverpool can definitely feel aggrieved with the penalty call and the offside call on the Van Dijk no goal, but they have looked pretty bad regardless, look very slow and devoid of ideas on how to generate chances.

I believe in the Jays.

I really don’t understand either of those calls, VAR still sucks as much as it did at the beginning. Liverpool have been very poor today, and City have gotten the luck with the deflections. I don’t see the second half going much better.

VAR is just a complete joke, and it continues to be that way. It’s not turning over clear and obvious errors, and decisions like this only add to the confusion of what should actually be called.

pretty wild stat. I mean, it matches the eye test, but leading the league in both is still absurd. Way too often, United sit back and invite pressure in the second half, and it costs them. Regularly subbing off Casemiro after 60-70 minutes because he's gassed and/or on a yellow doesn't help either ... didn't expect him to become a key player again, but United usually lose structure and control when he's off because Ugarte sucks and Mainoo isn't a 6. Lots to sort out still, even though there's positive glimpses. I dread the weeks when Mbeumo and Amad go to Africa Cup though ...
