I’m sold. I’m ready for the Misa brothers. Now let’s get Vladar some starts.

I've now decided the Flames should have the Misa brothers in the fold.
I don't think Wolfy is going to let that happen though...talk about mixed feelings.

And he's been about 60% in the dot lately as well.
Misa has been my fav as #1 for a month now, if the draft was tomorrow I would go:
1) Misa
2) Schaefer
3) Hagens
4) Martone
5) Frondell

Nope, Wolf alone won't let us keep our 1st at all.

That's where the lottery kicks in. I believe Calgary has one top five pick ever, so we are due for some luck. While we need centers, I'll take two of Misa, McKenna, and Dupont over the next three drafts.

Just food for thought: if a team in the top 5 was desperate for d help and schaefer is gone, and offered the flames their top 5 pick for Parekh, would you take it?

Man, that's a tough one- and I'm not even the biggest Parekh fan.
If a team offered a top-3 pick for Parekh, I would probably jump on it- and the 4th-overall will get you McQueen. It's a conundrum, because Parekh could be our shot at having a truly elite #1 D-man, but we have a big logjam of quality prospects on the backend....

I think its close enough that I could understand Conroy doing it. Say its for Misa or McQueen, potential 1C's. If Byram is truly a target, then maybe it makes sense

Bryam is an offensive dman who has never really produced elite offensive numbers at any level. He definitely is not a substitute for what Parekh could be.

No but pivoting from Parekh, Brz, Weegar, Poirier
to
Brz, Weegar, Byram, Poirier but adding a potential top C is a bit intriguing

Depends who's still on the board.
Also, how Brzustewicz progresses this year would be a factor
Probably, yes.

What is going on with our D in the minors. 0 goals between Poirer, Bruz and Grushnikov.
