The organization has never once worked this way under Edwards, but I guess there’s a first time for everything.

We could also get a sequence of garbage-in, garbage-out deals to try and salvage the sinking ship like Phaneuf, Jokinen, and Staios. Then the org can pat themselves on the back and say “see, we did something.”

No. Someone mentioned trading him to Montreal, it won't happen but if it did I would bet anything Huberdeau is at minimum a ppg player there given how they play offensively.

I just realized it’s been 8 years since Hudler/Monny/Johnny/Bouma/Ferland/Brodano/BigUrn.

This team used to be fun. I don’t feel much of anything other than apathetic disappointment at how this teams been managed over the last two years.

Honestly the forward group isn't elite. But the coaching staff is doing the same thing as last year where they panic and don't let chemistry develop.

Those lines at least looked to be showing some chemistry and were creating chances. Maybe you could have flipped Dube and Sharangovich but you didn't need to go full line blender.

Instead they went full line blender before the Detroit game, have been blending the lines ever since, and have refused to go back to those lines.

I honestly don't get it. After the game against Detroit they should have went back. But now three games later they still refuse to go back to those lines.
