Good shift for the Backlund line, keep it going.

Byron played a tougher game than Phillips. I don't see them that comparable in style.

It was fine. He's had a good game, albeit opoortunistic. Got fortunate on the assist. Absolutely nothing about his projection as a player has been determined by this game though.
I haven’t and wouldn’t argue with any of that.

I said the goal wasn’t sweet snd the assist says nothing about his NHL readiness.

I also pushed back in the Flanes holding him back when the whole league passed on him.

It's Game 3 and they're playing a good road game. Nothing to be really upset about.

I'll start thinking that hockey is as scripted as WWE if that happens.

Coronato with Backlund and Coleman is good.

They are trying to get Coronato the puck, which is a good thing since he has the best shot.

You are right, Phillip's scoring
a goal has nothing to do with whether Washington has a good team or not.
I responded to you saying he was on a good team. That’s it. As I said Washington isn’t a good team.

This team looks like a continuation of last years team. Sutter wasn’t the issue I guess

Something that's been bothering me for a while is it seems like the Flames wait for pucks to come to them whether it's on a pass to them or a loose puck going in their direction, instead of skating towards the puck. Maybe I'm just looking for it and confirming my own bias, but I feel like they do this the majority of the time and it allows the opposition to close the gap on them vs. if they skated towards the puck to pick it up faster and make a play sooner.
