That’s not the point. The point is that Giordano was not going anywhere in 2 seconds. So why give the refs a chance to call something. Just go to the room with a one goal lead.

Maroon's hit did have a point. It was to wear down the other team - 2 seconds or not. But, he was dumb in how he did it. He clearly let up but when Giordano was in a position to have his numbers hit it was an easy call.
