#### Sutter ,#### Mueller, #### Treliving, #### Singlet #### lucic and #### Edwards. I'd go as far as even saying #### Conroy too. He's been here just as long and through all this #### too. Purge the house clean.

All can go as soon as the team is mathematically out of it.

Can’t beat bottom feeders when you really need it

That’s all need to say about the Flames

Yes, Treliving needs to go for architected this horrible team after 10 yrs on the job

Sutter should not come out of retirement

I think Treliving is dumping the Flames.

When you put a team together that has most of the hockey world thinking you're a top five cup contender, as a GM you did your job ... especially given the exodus circumstances.

What happens from there is on the coach and the players.

There is a lot of truth in this. It's almost a Moneyball kind of scenario, the team as assembled on paper should win, but they aren't being played in a manner that allows that.

The most worrying thing is that the Sutter extension hasn't even kicked in yet, so ownership will be loathe to make yet another change, but it seems clear that Sutter is a cancer in this organization. Radical surgery may be the only alternative available.

Yes, it's also on the players who are underperforming, but you have to think a lot of that is because they've simply checked out. Yeah, they get paid a lot of money, and they should be more professional, but when you get ground down by a humourless prick (actually, even worse, a prick who thinks he's funny), it's pretty demotivating.

Treliving will be sitting at the Maple Leafs draft table in June. Book it.

If Edwards had any brains at all, he'd have an early termination option in Darryl's contract. He knows the guy has a shelf life. He knows he's stubborn. He knows he (Edwards) pulled him out of a comfy farming retirement.

If he didn't include that...he's an idiot. If Sutter didn't agree to it ... don't give him the extension.

We won't know though.

Maybe he's sick and tired of paying coaches NOT to coach for the Flames and is just gonna ride this one out. Honestly, I wouldn't blame him at this point.

All I know is that as a fan I have not enjoyed this season at all and Darryl played a role in it with his antics in the media and frustrating player deployment. If he's back next season I'm probably going to be a bit more casual of a fan. I've come to the realization that Darryl is a good NHL head coach and from what I hear a good person off the ice but I just don't like the person he is when he's acting as an NHL GM or head coach.

Seems to be a lot people off their meds these days. It’s not safe to be a sports fan and off your meds. Chill people. Gnashing your teeth and banging your head on the wall is not going to help anything.

Speak for yourself pal! For me it lessens the pain of watching this awful franchise self-destruct...one more time....

Reminds me so much of the Brent Sutter ear and his end here. He spent the entire time here beating the fun and confidence out of players that it just became hard to watch.

I still remember one the last few games it was against Anaheim and you still want your team to do well, but man the way he grinded that team down first time I passed out watching the team I love.

It's fun if you read everyone's posts in the voice of PG call in show Robert.

How hasn't that guy toasted from an aneurysm yet?

If Treliving leaves, we're probably just going to promote Conroy to GM. I'm one who thinks Treliving has done a great job and is probably in the top tier of GMs in the league, so at least Conroy has some great tutelage under him.

If not Conroy, then I'd look at Dubas if Treliving does end up in Toronto.

A GM trade? fun!

Seriously though, Sutter needs someone above him the can hold him accountable and call him out. Lombardi? Bring back Burke? (kidding of course) Disgraced Bob Murray? (Still kidding)

I'm sure there are some other old guys out there who Sutter would fall in line to... Can't think of them though... Futa?

Or, you could get Murray Edwards to sit down with him and tell him it's not working and wondering if the debt that he wants to repay could actually take the shape of not paying you for your contract extension?

Mitch Love seems like a fairly talented coach that could work with the youth. I bet another team hires him soon if the flames don't.

Bah, such a mess. Really seems like we've Patrik Roy'd ourselves.

Offer the GM position to Martin St. Louis, since he is a head coach, no harm or foul and Montreal would not stop him.

That appears to be a total mischaracterization of what actually occurred. Your hate for DS is clouding your comments badly.

MT wanted to be in the US and in a hazy, lazy place that paid him big time. JG wanted to keep his family and wife happy.

Neither had anything to do with DS as far as we know.

I used to know his tire mechanic back in Viking, Darryl told him he didn't like being GM after giving it a go. FWIW #organgejulious
