Happy to see all three doing well.

Btw. Sonny Milano has 4 points in 6 games for the caps.
They say TV adds 20 lbs so must be the reason...

I don't think under ppg and 2nd worse team in the league is "doing well" by Gaudreau standards

Tkachuk will put up points on the top line with Barkov and Verhaeghe. I'm curious about the forward lines -- it looks like they've bumped up Lomberg to the "second" line with Lundell and Reinhart; however, he's only playing about 10 minutes a game (since he's not on the PP or PK).

Things will balance out whenever Duclair gets healthy; getting Ekblad back was big for them as well.

I still don't miss him, but it's not fun seeing Tkachuk with almost double the combined points and +/- ratings of Huberdeau and Weegar.

Whatever - we're 15 games into the 1st season since the trade

I am more interested in keeping score of trophies getting lifted over heads

Bedard will be a tire fire defensively in his first year. They all are, even Sid in 2005. But if he's as good as Sid, he'll work to become a complete player. The offense is obviously already there and the defense will come.

I will be supremely pissed if he goes to Vancouver and we spend 25 straight years facing McDavid and Bedard in our division.

Looks like Eichel has turned it around. Add in Seattle's 2 new guys, Zegras in Anaheim should be a fun time.

Still think that Tkachuk should have been available for Eichel, that's the real opportunity cost.

Tkachuk vs. Eichel vs. Huberdeau+Weegar

given those 3 choices, I will take the 3rd one

it's a matter of attitudes for me

I haven’t seen Tkachuk play this year but I’ve seen all the points he’s got this and idk they are just not impressive plays? It feels like the majority of them are due to other players and not Tkachuk necessarily

He wouldn't have signed in Buffalo either...not to mention the rumors were Tkachuk+ for Eichel

Here's my annual contribution to the long lost era of Quad City Flames hockey! Just ran through hockeydb and it looks like only 2 form QC Flames are still playing pro hockey: Brett Sutter and Adam Cracknell.

Sutter I am sure you guys are aware due to lineage and where he is playing, but Cracknell has 6 points in 11 games for the Tucson Roadrunners in the AHL.

In terms of players that were still playing last year but are showing nothing so far this year, I think it was just Leland Irving and John Armstrong that both had some games in Europe last year.

We have almost closed the door totally on those 2 years of magical hockey from 07-09!

There is more to hockey than points

McDavid badly outscores the top scorers on the cup champs every season and what does that get them?

Nah he's been really good. Their best forward. I want to see what happens in the playoffs when the intensity and speed ramps up.

Yeah, from what I have seen, he hasn't skipped a beat since the trade. Still one of the best passers in the game.

He did #### all against the Oilers on Saturday

They also went 2-0 when he was suspended...Barkov is still their best forward IMO

...and plans to have his old pals over before Saturday's game vs Calgary.

Wonder if he'll invite Sutter?
