It's the same with some of the older dogs. I remember a friend showing me his new house. He had this large, completely untrained lab that kind of reminded me of the dog in the movie, "Marley and Me". When we went to go up the stairs, the dog had chewed away most of a large round wooden ball at the base of the stairway. Then when my friend was showing me his bedroom, the dog came running in, jumped up on the bed, and took a leak. My friend went ballistic, while I had to do everything I could to keep from laughing.
