Imo Jarnkrok is not good in C. He has 2 wingers that can battle in the corner, but he is not able to bring the puck down to the middle, like Monahan's short come as a C.
But I think he may be useful than Ritchi and can contrube in the 4th line at this series.

Again, not blaming him. Flames forwards have sucked and are the reason we are down 2-1.

But $6M Markstrom is the second best goalie in this series.
This is nonsense. He’s let in the same number of goals, the majority of which were deflected.

I'm not. The Flames can turn this around. Great teams can go through adversity and come through stronger. The Flames totally have what it takes to win this series.

So if oettinger is so calm and cool how about we take a penalty and run his ass over hard? Heard he was smiling away in game 2. Wipe the smile off his face and see how calm the rookie is then. He’ll be thinking twice about traffic at that point. If Dallas is going to be subtle dirty let’s be subtle dirty right back. This kids life is way too easy in net for a playoff series.

Markstrom's let in one more goal but yeah the point still stands. Half were deflected and half were rebounds that the guy should have never been able to get to. He's the last guy people should be bitching about.

In Game 3, Flames played substantially better than Dallas in Dallas and lost. More importantly, the second period was better than the first. And the third was better than the second.

In Game 1 and 2, the flames played marginally better than Dallas in Calgary and went 1-1. To me that's far more concerning than what happened tonight. Those games were effectively coin-tosses and we got the coin-toss outcome.

It isn't fun being down 2-1. I get it. But Flames are finally playing good hockey and I think they're a substantially better team. Things are looking up.

Per Hockey reference, this is Sutter's 15th post season campaign as a coach. Out of his previous 14, he made it out of the first round 7 times.

Sutter won 2 Cups out of 14 postseason campaigns. Also made it within a goal another time. He actually hasn't won a playoff series since 2014 Cup run.

Chintzy penalty call led to winning goal. ####

I’m still not all that worried. I firmly believe this Flames team is miles better than the Stars and will win the series.

Tbh our series aside, I’ve watched quite a bit of the first round round the league and I dunno wtf is going on but the refs have been the stars in every one. They must have got a message from up high to call it tight but holy #### has it been an embarrassment to the sport.

Cheering for the flames, or any team, is like dating that crazy hot girl who deep down you know you have no future with but can’t bring yourself to break up with her because you keep trying to convince yourself things will work out and she’ll settle down.

When it’s fun, it’s really fun and you ride that high while it lasts. And when it’s bad, it’s really bad, with knock down drag em out screaming matches until 3am that wake the neighbours.

But the very next day, you make up with her because she’s just the right amount of crazy for you and you once again start thinking about how she might be the one.
That pleasure/pain trip is brutal.

Nope, the boring girl who isn't well out of your league but has a semblance of a personality, sometimes crochets hats for animals, doesn't own a social media, lets people into her lane driving and doesn't take being killed in a first person shooter personally for me.

Especially when Dallas got away with worse after that. Either you call one of those too or you don't call anything and let the teams play. And it's not like the penalty that was called prevented a scoring chance either.

This.

Can't believe Tkachuk has completely abandoned bearing down on playing hockey for chasing Klingberg around and taking himself off the ice at important times.

I find myself actually missing his between the legs thing from behind the net. Hasn't done anything with the puck near the net this series.

I may have given the Flames too much credit predicting the Stars in 7, I thought they'd at least show more fight than this. It's like a repeat of 2019, but instead of getting dominated by one of the best players in the game they're getting dominated by a 37-year old and a rookie goaltender
