I think we're the last team to have a bad goalie game. Even Carolina has had it.
Get mad, but this was due. We have to outscore our problems tonight, that's just the kind of game this is gonna be. I hope the players scrap whats happened so far and approach the third like its a 0-1 game.

I agree - the Flames PP was lacking in shots and played a perimeter style. And it’s PK failed to clear the net and allowed the Sharks to roam around. The pressure D was gone.

Yes they have.
Gudbranson has a dismal 41.11 xGF% over the last 10 games, worst among all Flames defencemen by a decent margin. Zadorov is second-worst at 45.75%.

Meh, it could be a bit of both. The entire team was asleep at the wheel for the 2nd half of that period, but that 3rd pairing was really poor.
Good thing is that they're down by 1. Hopefully they come out with a fire lit under their butts because this game is extremely winnable.

Not saying it's the problem tonight, but I still can't believe how brutal the Flames schedule has been so far. This is the 3rd extended road trip the Flames have been on and it's barely December. They get some reprieve after this game but then a hilarious little one nighter at the end of the month inSeattle before flying home the next day for a game in Calgary. Just bonkers.

Vladar hasn’t even been bad, he just isn’t getting any bounces.
Flames should still be able to win with this level of goaltending, especially against these Sharks.

Don't really understand what Zadorov does out there other than make terrible passes and take bad penalties. He is the weak link on this team. I think Stone would be an upgrade on him if the Flames wanna give Valimaki minutes in Stockton.

After every goal against the Flames have come back with a shift with a decent scoring chance or more. And Sharks lucky they were only down 3-1 after some dominant play in first half of that period by the Flames.
Stick with the plan and Flames should be just fine.

He has had some good saves, like the Hertl chance (though Hertl didn’t make it as hard as he could have).
Flames got their 3 goals. They haven’t played the checking game they have in the past, and the PK has been bad.

Odd they couldn't just start the Flames season when everybody else's did and therefore afford them a night between those two games.
