Hymen spurned his drafted team to sign with the Leafs. He’s basically the Leaf version of Adam Fox. I think he will stay with the Leafs and they will make room for him.

Reinhart family has stated they’d like him to come back to the “Westcoast”, they are from Vancouver. The family has also in the past expressed displeasure with how the Flames treated older brother Max Reinhart. You are likely to see a Reinhart for JT Miller trade.

I think a realistic trade for Monahan is probably Max Domi. Two guys who have struggled for a couple of years. Domi contract ends a year sooner, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Domi couldn’t play for Torts so not sure he has the maturity to play for Darryl but he does have the speed and grit that Darrly likes. The BJs have been looking for a legitimate top 6 centre for awhile now.

Eichel was 2nd among Sabres for CF% and 1st FF%, but 61.1% of his starts were in the offensive zone. He also has more giveaways than takeaways.

I also remember him being quite high in terms of penalties drawn and penalties taken differential. He would almost offset Tkachuk in that regard.

It looks like he's about what you'd expect for an offensive center that age.
He'd probably improve down the road.

I'm more concerned about his ability to stay healthy than anything else.

Reinhart is arb eligible, though he'd probably be happy to sign long term here.

Then again, it could make a lot of sense financially to take a 1-2 yr deal and then sign a bigger one as escrow goes down and cap up.
