Wilson is the biggest Diva in the league, this is not surprising.

Sure why not trade everyone. I would find it hilarious if the Texans cut off their nose to spite their face and ruin their own return for Watson if Wilson goes to one of their premier destinations. The less people bidding on Watson the better.

Actually if the Seahawks could manage to come out of this with Watson that would be okay. Sure, far fetched, but...
Oh who am I kidding. Why have hope.

Unless the Seahawks like Tua a lot you have to think he's a Jet at the end of this. Either way if the Jets don't end up with Deshaun or Russ it'll be a massive failure, they have the best ammo to get one of them.

Sounds like Russell wants to be remembered for his statistical standing and individual awards. Also sounds like Carroll has to take some blame for creating the monster.

This presupposes they want one of them. They could easily believe in Darnold and keep him or want 5 years of rookie contract cost controlled BYU Wilson. In a salary cap league I really feel like the cost component for any of these high paid vets is being overlooked for the jets or the fins. You shouldn’t make a move for either of them unless you believe you’re that one player away from contending and those two teams are not that IMO.
If I was a betting man I’d say SF or Carolina were your likeliest Watson destination IF the Texans back down from their no trade stance. No clue on Wilson

This is such a bootlicker take. Why shouldn't a player care about getting paid what he's worth? It's a capitalist society and they're making the owners a crapload of money.

But we just watched five QBs taken in the first two picks get booted from their original team within five years. Zach Wilson might be the Mormon Mahomes or he might be the Mormon Bortles, it's a risk. We know what Deshaun and Russ are. Rookie contract value is nice, but a proven elite QB is still the greatest asset in the league and the Jets have a massive amount of cap space to push heavy dollars into the first couple of years of an extension, and then have the back end of it be cheap on the cap. Even though they are still the Jets, they've set themselves up well for the moment.

That’s true, it’s definitely quite the dividing line in team building philosophy. I know nothing about Salah, is he the type to want that quick fix or does he want to build other parts of the team and ride with who he’s got?

Lol read the article before jumping off a bridge as the money is only a very small part. When he was on his rookie deal the Hawks were top 10 in spending on the OL. After he got paid they dropped to bottom 10 in OL spending. Lots of blame to go around but now I know why Hawks fans have soured on him.

I think the only actual things I know about Saleh is he is a sexy man, he's a Muslim, and his players love him.

I feel that is why they attempted the pass agains the PATS in the super bowl, it was very important for hero Russ to have thrown the game winning TD pass. If he was anywhere near as good as he thinks he is, that team should have won 2-3 SB's with that defense and i am not a fan but acknowledge that D was fantastic. Whose kidding who, against Denver when they won, they could have won with a Blake Bortles level of QB.

Can't ignore how hard his players played for him in San Fran even when they were down to practice roster players. That defense had no business playing as well as they did with all their injuries. I would think some of that will translate but weird things happen in that market.

No doubt, but going from Gase to anyone who has even mediocre abilities is one of the great upgrades in NFL history.

Not to mention the Pats were also funneling money into his "consulting firm" to help circumvent the cap.

Too lazy to link, schefter says Wilson hasn’t requested a trade but “if you’re gonna trade me” he would like Dallas, Saints, Raiders, Bears.
That is an odd mix of teams.

Don't worry Res, like a good neighbor State Farm is there

And yeah WTF? Bears have jack#### to offer, Cowboys have Dak but whatever, Raiders have nothing. Of course it'll be the Saints who covert $179 million of their cap space into bonuses and #### to spread it out to 2047.
