That said, it's amazing what has happened in just a little over two years as Bianca defeated Jessica Pegula in the Oracle Challenger final in Newport Beach in late January of 2019. Look how far both ladies have come since then.

Djoker went crazy on his racket and then went beast mode.
Looking forward to Williams vs Osaka. By all indications it's gonna be an absolute barn burner.

I'm trying to find this, I think it was Muchova who took the medical timeout.

Just announced during the Rublev - Medvedev match that Sofia Kenin underwent emergency appendectomy surgery on Monday in Melbourne. Apparently, she is doing fine and resting comfortably which is great news.

Medvedev is the new Djokovic, he just run downs every ball which is amazing for how tall he is and just waits for you to make a mistake or provide the tiniest opening and then he pounces.

Full disclosure. I had the volume down low as I was on a phone call.
Here’s a bit more context to what happened: http://wtatennis.com/news/2032125/mu...open-semifinal
You’re correct, GS. My apologies.

Rublev looks like he's about to collapse out there while Medvedev looks fresh as a daisy.

Not sure I’ll be able to stay up but a few doubles faults and Bianca gets broken early.

Breaks back. She’s getting more aggressive with her return.

Really nice break for Bianca. Probably the best game she’s played so far — hopefully a sign of things to come. Night, all!

That was one of the most incredible comebacks i've ever seen and a great match. Too bad fans couldnt see it live.

Whoa! That's massive news to wake up to.
And on the Bianca watch: nearly three hours (6-3, 4-6, 7-6(5) ) and a third-set tiebreaker to advance to the semis of the Philip Island Trophy. She's facing Marie Bouzkova next.

I thought Rafa would pull that out. He was broken in the fifth, but next game pushed him to Deuce three times, then hit a ball into the net to give Tsitsipas the AD, then lost. Ugh

Tough loss, Tsitsipas was playing great the last three sets, he deserved it.

Djokovic vs Medvedev or Tsitsipas final will be very interesting. I don't think Nadal would have been able to defeat Djokovic in the final.
