They've been separated for a fairly long time. Not sure if they're divorced or not.

Probably no worse than any other Life Coach.
The only people who should be Life Coaches are ER Doctors as they are literally coaching people into continued living.

ChatGPT comes to the rescue
Dear Jamie,
We at the CalgaryPuck Community are writing to express our grave concern about the rumored decision to work with Theo Fleury as your life coach. While we understand that you may have found his guidance helpful in the past, it is important to carefully consider the potential risks and drawbacks of working with someone who holds anti-vaccine beliefs and has a history of mental instability.
Mental instability can significantly impact an individual's ability to provide a stable and supportive environment, and it is important to ensure that your life coach is able to prioritize your well-being and safety. Additionally, Theo Fleury's anti-vaccine beliefs not only put you and those around you at risk of serious illness, but they also indicate a lack of understanding of scientific evidence and critical thinking skills. It is crucial to seek guidance from individuals who base their beliefs on factual information and sound reasoning.
We understand that finding the right life coach can be a challenging process, but we implore you to reconsider your decision and explore other options. Your well-being and safety should be the top priority, and we want to see you thrive and succeed.
Sincerely,
The CalgaryPuck Community

Sounds like Locke could use a life coach, I’ll tweet Theo and ask if he’s available.

Maybe a couple sessions with Theo will change your mind, I’ll ask if he’s got room for you too.

Oh I've met a few 'Life Coaches' in my time.
Most of these people have made every mistake in the book, unfortunately they typically havent learned anything from this lifetime of committing every obvious error a human can make but for some reason feel qualified to advise others.
I had one guy give me a step-by-step rundown on how to get out of paying child support.
Now...I personally have no need for this advice, but for some people I suppose it could be handy information to have if you're willing to live in a tent on the outskirts of Kelowna in order to screw your former spouse and offspring out of support.
I wasnt really aware that Maintenance Enforcement cant really do much to you without a fixed address but I'd have been willing to bet that 'lack of income' probably would have ticked most boxes, but if that is insufficient for your purposes then I suppose loitering in the woods will also work.
These are just a skimming of the surface of the tips and tricks that can be yours to behold when engaging an accomplished and accredited Life Coach.

“Helping” someone avoid paying court ordered child support is about one of the sleaziest things that a person can do, but misleading someone into believing that MEP doesn’t have other means to get the money from you if you don’t have a fixed address manages to take that to a new low.

See, now thats the kind of vicious self-serving lies that any self-respecting life coach wouldnt lay on you.

Thats okay, I dont you're in too much danger of being taken too seriously.
I have a great disdain for 'Life Coaches' in general because...well, I've met a few.
Most of them tend to think that they've had some sort of messianic epiphany via some sort of 'Eureka' moment and that they view life and the world from a different perspective than the unenlightened.
And they're not wrong. They definitely see the world differently.
Some would consider them enlightened Gurus operating on a different plane of existence than the rest of the world. Others might consider them mentally damaged delusional sociopaths.
Pick your path.

I'd be surprised if trauma and mental illness doesn't play a big role in the Fleury-level vax deniers. It really isn't a binary process of "if traumatized --> be terrible". That Kennedy is a wonderful guy doesn't necessarily prove the whole idea incorrect. Trauma adds a complexity and sensitivity to life. Many will be able to overcome the terrible hand they were dealt and many will not.

This. I would not be surprised if his life trauma has had a huge negative effect on his mental state.
I knew people who grew up with Fleury, including close relatives, and can say that his trauma didn't begin in junior hockey either. He had a really rough childhood from day one. Some of the stuff I heard about his home life was pretty disgusting. I was told about this back when he still played for the Flames.
