It's always premature to declare winners and losers on draft weekend as there are a lot of instances of highly graded drafts not playing out well and poorly graded drafts playing out better than expected by the draft pundits. That said I can't defend the Raiders 1st round. I knew Ruggs was always going to be a possibility due to Gruden's envy of the Chiefs speed on offense but Arnette at 19 IMO is the worst pick of the first round based on the information we currently have. Well this isn't true...we have no idea where he would have gone. There are already lots of rumors that teams were looking at him early in the 2nd round. I think the fact he played last season with a broken wrist is a pretty big wild card. Hurt his draft stock but he played incredibly well all things considered. Some teams likely projected what he would have done if 100% healthy.

Even if they don't sign him to an extension it's a 3rd and a 5th and they would likely get a comp 3rd back so incredible value by Lynch.

The Chicago Bears must believe in the strength-in-numbers theory at tight end.

On Friday, the Bears made yet another attempt to improve their fortunes at tight end by using the 43rd overall pick of the 2020 NFL draft on Notre Dame's Cole Kmet, who became the 10th tight end on Chicago's offseason roster.

The Packers 1st pick was a disaster IMO, their second i understand even if i dont necessarily agree with and the 3rd was fine. I see a downward spiral coming though.

But .....what are the Bears doing?

I'm still so confused at how the Saints traded the rest of their entire Draft to the Vikings to move up in the 4th round to take TE Adam Trautman. Nothing against the player, but 4 picks??

Almost felt like an homage by Payton and GM Loomis to Mike Ditka's first Draft as Saints HC when he gave away his entire draft class (AND 1st & 3rd round picks the next year) for Ricky Williams.

Well the Pats lost Gronk and Brady, but a new fan favorite in Boston was drafted.

New England Patriots rookie kicker Justin Rohrwasser says a tattoo on his left arm is not meant to symbolize the markings of "The Three Percenters," a right-wing militia group that first formed in 2008, and that he plans to get it covered up.

The Patriots selected Rohrwasser with the No. 159 pick in the fifth round of the NFL draft on Saturday.

"I got that tattoo when I was a teenager and I have a lot of family in the military. I thought it stood for a military-support symbol at the time," Rohrwasser said in an introductory conference call with reporters. "Obviously, it's evolved into something that I do not want to represent. When I look back on it, I should have done way more research before I put any mark or symbol like that on my body, and it's not something I ever want to represent. It will be covered."
