It’s just that the puck ping ponged a couple times after the shot. That would be some epic redirect magic to think that was intentional. Sometimes a puck just ricochetes. In the end though you’re right with your points.

I don’t recall watching a game all these years where each team has exaggerated so much. This penalty was bs too as Dellandria just snapped his head back. It’s like watching a basketball game at times.
