Is it rude to say that Notley kind of looks like Palpatine? Because she does.

Quite a pedestrian game by the flames.
Barely have the puck, Backlund missed their only real scoring chance.
Not impressed

Avs have really turned up tonight and essentially stopped us playing.

Sure, Brodie blew that. But the PP unit 1 was awful, 2 had some weak chances and a bit of possession, but really the Avs are playing fast and mean and the flames aren't.
Monahan and Brodie can sit for me here, neither is doing anything much.

On the plus side, I feel like this is the Avs playing their best and the Flames not playing nearly as well as they can. Full credit to the Avs, but if the Flames get their heads back in it and Smith keeps up his play it shouldn't even be close

Brodie can be such an enigma at times. He can be absolutely world class for a few games but then stink up the joint like tonight for a stretch. The difference between him and a #1 is consistency.

Brodie should have taken a penalty as soon as he missed it.

More of a culmination of his night so far. He has been very poor and Smith has bailed him out twice.

No it's not. He could have used his body to seal that rather than his stick. That was on him.

Two major mistakes by the flames this game, Brodie responsible for both. I like Brodie, but why does he have to keep doing that? Just don't, you know?

Brodie is terrible. Would love to trade his ass after this season. Let’s go boys, time to wake up and get this thing going!

If you think that then you don’t understand hockey. Literally everything he did on that play was wrong.

Three top quality chances for the Avs on our PP. Each more embarrassing than the last. Just lazy and unnecessary.
Brodie for the goal is too embarrassing for words
