But the puck is already over, so even if his skate came off the ice it might still have been on the ice when the puck crossed. Did the Flames catch a break? I don't think we know.

glad they changed the rule to give a penalty on unsuccessful changes.

if only they did that on goalie interference challenges

I agree the puck is in/inconclusive.

The skate shadow breaks on that frame so I think it’s up and it really was that close.

I don't know. Offsides is theoretically black/white, while goalie interference is completely vague and inconsistent from game to game and official to official.
