What's up the balls too? I read two went flat in the France game, and now one in this game within five minutes. These things cost like $200, adidas should be embarrassed.

Ha. Icelandic heads in Icelandic hands. What a miss.

Iceland should be ahead, that was horrible from Caballero.

And that's why you play Aguero and not Higuain.

And that’s why I can’t see Argentina doing much damage this tournament. Train wreck at the back

I'd give that dive 1/10. Not enough contact to be in any pain at all. Stand up, please.

Iceland is smart. Lob everything into the box because they are taller and Argentina defense is uncoordinated.

How’s that a corner?
This ref has not been great. Way too many fouls given for challenges that get the ball

That could have been a penalty. Outstretched arm blocking a cross.

Everytime I watch Iceland I think why don't England play like this? Why does England try to play like Spain?

Iceland as a team are probably better than Argentina when it comes to being organized and playing as a unit. Argentina just have the star power. Argentina's defense and midfield are pretty abysmal.

The Messi fans have had a rather catastrophic start to this World Cup.

Quote:
In the history of the World Cup, teams have made 71.5 percent of their penalty-shootout kicks. But the sample size is not huge, and the percentage has been slightly higher — closer to 75 percent in other major international tournaments like the European Championships.
|
Penalty shots in the NHL are successful around 30% of the time. PPs about 17%.
