You spout the typical Leaf fan garbage and now that you've got a salty wound from tonight your true colours come out and you're bashing the Flames and Flames fans.

Difference being? You're the one out of your way to post on a Flames board.

The team you cheer for is one of the worst in all of sports. Why? Because they have the most money, biggest fan base and most coverage.... yet they are the the Cleveland Browns.

As I said a page back. The Leafs are the New York Yankees... of losing.

No need to lash out and try to hurt us because your team failed. Flames fans know what pain is many times over.

Leafs never had a shot. Leafs have weak D. Just wait until the big contracts kick in. You Leaf fans remind me of Oil fans lol. Another lottery team

"he's the only reason the Leafs were even in that series."

He let in 5 goals in game 1. He let in 3 goals on 5 shots in game 2. He let in 3 goals on 21 shots on Game 4. And he let in 6 goals on 35 shots in Game 7.

Those are the 4 losses.

This isn't like he was putting up amazing numbers all series.

He either played amazing or played like trash. So to say he is the reason they made it to game 7 is a joke.

I have read on here over and over again how ELliot cost the Flames last season.

His numbers:

Thu 4/13
@ ANA
L 2-3 58:43 3 41 38 .927 0 0

Sat 4/15
@ ANA
L 2-3 59:29 3 29 26 .897 0 0

Mon 4/17
vs ANA
L 4-5 (OT) 61:30 5 27 22 .815 0 0

Wed 4/19
vs ANA
L 1-3 5:38 1 3 2 .667 0 0

Andersen's numbers in the 4 losses:

Thu 4/12
@ BOS
L 1-5 60:00 5 40 35 .875

Sat 4/14
@ BOS
L 3-7 12:13 3 5 2 .400

Thu 4/19
vs BOS
L 1-3 57:08 3 21 18 .857

Wed 4/25
@ BOS
L 4-7 57:55 6 35 29 .829

I don't see anyone calling the Flames some echelon team and more to the point, why are you getting so defensive? It's a Flames forum where opposition teams get bashed all the time and it would be no different on an Oilers forum where they bash us on a regular basis. Go to Leafs forum if you want sympathy.

Typical Leaf fan delusion.

The Leafs were drastically out-played in several games they won and the goalie saved their bacon.

I was upset at the time as I really wanted to see you and your cronies devastated by a quick beat-down... but seeing the collective hopes get up only to be embarrassed in the last minutes of a game seven (again) is/was priceless.

I'd watch some TV if I were you. You're not going to find any absolution here.

No, it's the truth. It's funny how you leave out his stats for the Leafs' wins.

That's the point. Most times you need your goalie to at least play at .900 or above to have a chance of winning.

Leafs never had a chance against Boston. Just like Cherry said Anderson has to steal the game to win. Anderson was the team.

Yes, but you shouldn't expect him to make 40+ stops.

I didn't like either team, but I was glad the Leafs lost. Hopefully the Bruins are disposed of in short order in the next round.

Leafs D is bad too. No denying that. I hated the Hainsey signing at the time and as the season went on he got worse and worse. By the time the playoffs rolled around he was brutal. Overworked for sure.

Boston was Canada's team. They served our country well.

The Leafs D was the biggest reason why Anderson struggled at times. Without Anderson this series is probably a 4 or 5 walkover by the Bruins. As heroic as Leaf fans want to portray their team . . . really not that heroic.

That defense was bad, Mathews was terrible in that series, and really Babcock got schooled as a coach.

Without Anderson the Leafs are bar none the worst team in the playoffs

Also, have the Wild won one since the lockout? There's a lot of first round exits there. Maybe they beat the Avs one time? I forget.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...eason_droughts

Panthers = 21 years win drought.
Blue Jackets = 16
Leafs = 12
Sabres = 11
Avalanche= 9
Hurricanes = 9

Wild won a series in 2014-15.

It is 24 years since a Canadian team won the Cup. That is a generation.
