I must admit if any team would attempt to pull off something like this it would be the Oilers. That said didn't see nor do I have an interest in seeing the anthem in question.

A lot of people giving the Oilers a lot of credit. On the other hand, maybe they really are stupid enough to not be able to work the mic properly. Both ways, Oilers and their fans are terrible.

I don't think a guy who signed up and gave himself the name "money guy" needs to be borrowing money

The worst part is how pathetic and butt hurt it makes us look when a couple people resort to that, as though we actually have to make things up when there is miles of real-life examples of Edmonton's no-goodness right in front of our faces. It almost makes us look like... oh god... like... Edmonton fans... 
As Flames fans...no... as adult human beings, we're much better than to have to make stuff up to insult the Oilers. It's so easy. So many options. Such a wealth of pure information to draw from.
It's easy to see that this is a non-issue. It's not impressive or special. Nobody should care, not even enough to theorise an alternate version where this was some secret plan.

Definitely, they paid HF members I believe to defend the Oilers so why do people have a hard time believing they'd do something like this? It's such an Oiler thing to do. Always looking for attention and validation.

This is looking like our WCF against the Sharks in 2004; road teams win all the first four games. I was so dejected after losing Game 4 at home. Thought we were done after that.
Then the Flames dominated Game 5 and won that tight Game 6 at home to close it out.
Here's hoping the Ducks can figure it out in Game 5 unlike those Sharks.

Even just watching the recap on NHL.com this morning, the color was pretty painful. Especially as it was the NBCSN feed and they were having to put up with the Oilers circle-j**k. Barf
