Certainly will be nice to see when Chapman returns.

Just finished the PVR - another painful loss where they give up a lead late in the ballgame. Hard to blame the pen though, it's not like you can expect them to hang zeros every inning. It's really about the silent bats so far; Tulo and Martin are both hitting under .100. Yesh!

Basically every batter except JD, JB, and EE has been completely invisible. Last year the big 3 had massive support from the secondary guys. And calling Martin and Tulo secondary guys is already a stretch, so if they aren't hitting it just creates massive holes in this lineup.

They'll all get in to a rythym and we will likely forget all about this frustrating start, but it's really hard to watch at the moment.

I'll be shocked if they don't turn it around.

Tulo is the most irritating to watch at the plate, for me. He is so much better than that

Another Blue Jays article, talking about their Sports Science approach. Something I didn't even know they were emphasizing so much this year.

Stroman, Sanchez, Syndergaard, all 24 or younger and under team control for what..another 6 years(ish)?

Not to mention we'd still have D'Arnaud to platoon with Martin right now instead of Thole, which would be a win all by itself.

Man what a terrible trade that was.
If we had D'Arnaud, i doubt the jays sign Martin.

Agree. And then with the savings from Martin and not signing J.A. Happ Happablap they could have signed Price!

Price-Syndergaard-Stroman-Sanchez-Estrada, the sickest rotation ever.

Pillar leading off and Tulo in clean-up is hurting this lineup

A 2 out RBI double for Goins. More of those, please.

Here's what we need - a little more production out of the bottom of the order. Takes the strain off 2-3-4 knowing that a few runs will come out from the rest of the line-up.

Some good run manufacturing. Smoak with the walk really set that up. If Smoak can take some more walks (unlikely)and with his glove being far superior than Collabello's he could be a decent 1B.

Just listening to Buck talk about the Yankees Core 4. Do you think Bernie Williams feels a little slighted not being noted as part of the "Core 4".

Rivera and Jeter are hall of famers but Bernie was a better hitter than Posada...

Saunders pretty casual about that double, i thought it was gonna be a closer play than that.
