He's not going in the areas or doing any of the things that made him successful when he first started in the AHL.

Not a big deal, players do struggle from time to time like this as they try to figure out how to play at the higher levels. I'll be worried if his whole season is like this and he struggles again early next year.

As of right now, the entire heat team is playing like the Flames for most of this year.

What's the over/under on the number of months before Huska should/will be fired?

Wondering the same thing...Treviling doesn't look good on this hire. Huska took a team that was making the playoffs and in which prospects were developing well on a straight steep decline. And it's not just the results; it's the seeming regression of all of our top prospects under him as coach. I don't see why he should be given much more time at all.

I've been calling for Huska's job since late last year and I feel the same way. Injuries and call ups aren't an excuse when the team makes the same mistakes night after night. Huska was essentially given a brand new team this year who are making the same mistakes as the team last year.

We need a better and stronger coach. Our prospects aren't being developed, they are just there collecting a cheque. This can't be left to go on much longer.

Beauty goal by Hathaway. Agostino crossed the line, and fed a pass across to Nakladal, who went in on a two on one and returned the pass across to Hathaway for the goal.

Heat 2-0

Austin Carroll fired a shot but it went through Campbell and trickled over the line.

Heat goes to the PK after BVB was called for hooking Gemel Smith.

Riley drilled Ranford in front of the stars net and BVB also is in the box. Johns nailed Riley earlier in the penalty, and he decided to take it out on Ranford instead.

There is only a 1 man advantage as Bystrom was called for I'm assuming roughing.

Turner Elson scores on a shorthanded break

Campbell is playing like garbage thus far.

Spoon called for crosschecking. 2 man advantage.

1st penalty and period over. 16 seconds will be left on the Spoon penalty to start the 2nd.

PK over and the Stars now take a penalty for too many men.

Poirier has all the luck. A one timer that would have been an easy goal bounced on him at the last second and harmlessly into the corner.

Kylington is playing decent defensively. Played a rushing forward well, edged him off and the puck turned over to the his partner. Haven't noticed him much this game on the defensive side, which is a good thing.

Poulin has played well. Had to make some tough saves in the latter part of the 1st and at times in the 2nd.
