Just saw the replay. Hits Hiller and deflects to the side of the net GRAZING the outside of the post. It was not close to beating him in any way. Get a grip.

Keith Jones in the studio just mentioned that the puck hits Hiller and hits the side of the net.

Honestly everyone, not much to get worked up about here. I recommend everyone stops watching the Sportsnet broadcast right now.

There is some really promising research using testosterone replacement therapy to treat head trauma. It's weird to say, because you don't want head injuries in the first place, but it might not ruin careers for much longer.

Even though the Ducks were the better team I really didn't think they looked that fantastic.

Definitely beatable.

That was to be expected. We aren't taking face-offs against Vancouver anymore, who was equally inept as us in that department.

You guys can talk about how it was the outside of the post and the difference between being outplayed and being dominated... But ultimately, it comes down to this: at no point in that perood did the Flames give anyone the impression that Anaheim should be even slightly worried about them.

I Hope so...I love the fact that we have a great third line center with unlimited offensive upside.

Yep, it may take the Flames a while to adapt but I think this series goes 6 or 7.

A breakaway and a 2-on-1 chance in that period beg to differ.

Jesus, I know it was a bad result to the period, but why does everyone have to be so negative around here?

Can't lose every faceoff.
Must have a better solution for the Ducks down low.
Lots of time to adjust.

Bollig wasn't joking, he's grown a better beard than any other Flame in about 4 days.

I think the Flames win this series still, but this is a Ducks team that has had a week plus a day off since their last game. They're just getting started. Flames need to shake off that slow start and find that next gear.

I don't recall one poster saying that was the difference.
