Pretty clear it was a good goal.. He missed with his stick and was slowing down at the same time. Bounced off his blade.

I'd like us to decline the 2nd period in exchange for two 3rd periods.

If the stopping motion of his foot was fluid you'd be right. But the foot changed pace into the puck to hit it.

I don't think there was a kicking motion. He knew what he was doing and directed it in, but there wasn't much of a kick.
Still should have been longer than a 10 second review.

Typical, just an awful effort.
Team was not ready for the 2nd period.

I 100% disagree. If you watch, right at the very end, he makes a little extra push with his skate. He had already slowed down enough that he didn't need to do it to stop. More a nudge than a kick but still.

except for the obvious forward motion of the front skate to put it in the net. Why did his front skate go forward if he was just stopping? BS.

That is a textbook Kick in. I have no idea how you don't call that off. But honestly, what the hell happened to the flames? Almost like they stopped playing because they thought this game was in the bag. THIS IS THE GAME THEY NEED TO WIN. THIS IS THEIR CHANCE TO GET INTO A PLAYOFF POSITION. WHY DO THEY DO THIS EVERY TIME?!?!

Yeah. There was a lot of talk prior to the season that they were going to loosen the standard for what's acceptable. It was definitely directed in by his foot, but there wasn't really a "kick".
