I think they decided that you still have to give some time. Has not mattered to me yet. You did not pick the guy i wanted going down the draft order. You have screwed me twice going up the ladder which you are allowed to do. Time for some revenge coming back down the ladder.

Yeah, I don't know how Apps didn't get picked last time, actually the problem with WWII era players is that it really did cut into their playing time, especially for those that missed four years of their prime.

Actually the one thing that I find interesting was the pay that the players received (Apps made $6000 per year... not much even with inflation) and the medical treatments that the players received (think plates inserted into knees to act as braces for what I assume was a ACL//MCL injury)... really puts a few things into perspective!

Took me a while to choose between Lapointe and Savard, but I think Savard works a lot better with Orr and Chelios on the backend.
