The Calgary Flames went to the Stanley Cup finals before we got Dion, and never made it past the first round as soon as he joined our team. So clearly, Dion is terrible.

I have this "whoever scores first, wins" feeling, as the pressure of going down a goal in the deciding game will cause that team to implode, and it'll be a three-goal victory for the winner.

I just don't know who that winner will be, though.

Really excited to watch this game tonight I think it's going to be great. Don't like the leafs but if they do win they deserve all the credit in the world. I didn't think it could happen.

What are the potential match ups 2nd round?

I'd love to see Phaneuf vs Iginla in the playoffs. I have a feelings they'd go toe-to-toe a couple times in a 7 game series.

Given the extremely weak teams in the East I think Toronto has a good chance of making it to the finals if they can just get past these pesky Bruins.

NY, Wash, and Pitt are all weak and will fold as soon as they play anyone with some grit.

Ott is a grinder team that IMO needs low scoring games and Pitt will likely have enough firepower/power plays to run up the score.

?

3 of the 4 series have already been decided:

Chicago vs Detroit
LA vs San Jose
Pittsburgh vs Ottawa

The winners of the two games tonight will be the 4th series.

I haven't been following along too closely, thought I'd ask.

You can't be serious. maybe that's because they were garbage.

Regehr - 5 pts, -12 after traded
Bourque - 8 pts, -16 in 38 games after traded
Sutter - not even the oilers wanted him
Bouwmeester - was more disliked as a Flame than now
Comeau - see Bouwmeester
Jokinen - 14 pts, -19 this season after being let go

Wideman and Hudler filled needs on this team and were bright spots on an otherwise terrible team and season. Both players have their warts but nobody's overrating them.

Really enjoy your hockey insights most of the time but sometimes you try too hard to be devils advocate. You're creating a mainstream opinion that doesn't even exist, in order to be the voice of reason here.

I think Oilfan# 81's history on CP speaks for itself . He is one of the most likable Oiler fans we have on the board and is anything but a d##k.

Totally ridiculous post.

Go back to picking on Timbit
