you just convinced me to get premium, now you want me to splurge on a PS4?? You are going to spend my money quicker then my wife!

True story, wife did prepay for one but told her to take it back because no one else *cough*dale*cough* had one.

Premium transfers to the PS4 .

You should get one, trust me the smoothness of the game is night and day different. I have been trying to swing Tyler to the darkside and convince him to get one. Maybe I need to press dale to get one as well. I once gave dale money to buy a game so he could play online with a few of us and he ended up not even buying the game lol.

After playing both the PC, PS4 & PS3 versions there is some major differences IMO.

The hit detection on the PS4 and PC is miles above the PS3, there is maybe 2-3 situations where i feel i was wronged in a headshot or outgunned when i knew i shot first on those, on the PS3 this happens 2-3 times a round.

PS3 weapons its all about fire rate, fast gun = Kills a plenty
PS4 weapons is all about damage, High damage = Kills a plenty
PC, high damage as recoil is controllable with a mouse.

I imagine the reasoning behind this is the ####ty hit detection on PS3 means you need to get more shots off incase some dont register.

The game is broken, I'm tired of BS from it and stopped playing it.

I just have not encountered any real problems. Fairly lucky considering I came in tentatively and any real set backs would have killed my BF experience almost instantly.

I still really enjoy the game. Yes there is banding occasionally and some lag issues but compared to COD and their terrible terrible terrible releases every year this game is a gem

I'm still enjoying the game... the occasional crash, and like Diemenz has mentioned with regards to banding and lag, which happens with most online games. The problems haven't taken away from the enjoyment of the game for me.

I think people bitch more about this game because of more of who the publisher is in EA, more so then the actual problems that every game has.

I don't think so. For all the enjoyment I've got from this game, I know people that have had absolutely frustrating and unacceptable game breaking issues. From punkbuster refusing to update causing the game to immediately kick them to just inexplicably high ping with no reason for it. Then there are constant crashing issues for some.

The game was released early and is suffering for it, there is not doubting that.

I haven't been able to enjoy this lately either. Conquest is unplayable for me on PS4. I would get some good Obliteration rounds in occasionally, but sometimes there is lag in that as well. The problem I found is that in order to really enjoy it, I have to be playing well. And to perform well in the game, you need to play it often. So trying to jump into a game for an hour once a week wasn't cutting it for me, and just wasn't enjoying it.

I'll probably play more if people start saying the server issues are fixed.

EDIT
And I read a little after than they have been upgrading the hardware on the PS4 servers, and people are reporting rubber banding has improved. Might be launching into this again...

I'm not saying the game doesn't have issues... I've had nights that I just turn off and say eff it, but those are far and few between. Maybe I've been one of the lucky ones. So it was unfair of me to use my experience to judge the experience of others.

For me it's the people that write a long winded bitching type comment and end it with "#### you EA." I find those ones to be cloaked in negative bias towards a company more so the actual game. And I'm not gearing this towards anyone here, it's just been my experience browsing other forums. Joy of the internet I guess, always more negative then positive lol

And the game more then likely came out early, but I've come to the acceptance that no game will be perfect, most will be released early, and all will have issues. If I get at least 8 hours of entertainment and enjoyment out of it then it's paid for, anything over that and I feel I've come out on top.

Also helps that I go in with no expectations...

You have been lucky. Even if we are in a majority, it is not any where near a big enough majority for what is a big name game release by one of the biggest companies in the world. It just isn't acceptable.

The reason a lot of people will take any issue that EA creates and beat it to death is because EA has done a lot to earn that ire. They've ruined game franchises, killed developers for EA's own mistakes, treated their customers like absolute garbage. That's a short list, but EA is unbelievably scummy and have totally earned the scorn they get when they make a major mistake.

There is "not perfect" and "not finished". An example of not perfect is the glitch that ruins the Bastila storyline in KotOR or quests not being finishable in Skyrim due to an NPC glitch. Not finished is when the game is plagued by issues that are supposed to be sorted out in Alphas and Betas.

If you are happy with 8 hours then I doubt you will be disappointed much, and I will akin that to a cheap drunk. You're saving money and having a blast with less than others. But the average gamer has much higher expectations, especially for a time sink like the Battlefield series. That being said 3 was plagued just like 4, so I don't know what people were expecting.

I remeber when I bought BF3 and hated it. I was a COD player and couldn't get use to it but then switched fully and loved BF3.

BF4 has been a failure to me, with all the glitches, and flying coffins, along with the damn Mobile AA. it just brings on rage with me. I've been having fun playing ARMA3 lately.

I got the game on release and never even got to see one of the damn levolutions, it crashed every single time it happened. That combined with the rubber banding, the bad level design, the horrible optimization and the ridiculously awful browser loader I can't even get into games or be bothered to try to salvage some of my wasted money. Good work EA, you screwed me, enjoy never having my money again, hope it was worth it.

EA is just the publisher.
Dice made the game.

I don't seem to have those issues so I will consider myself lucky. Normally if the game crashes on a levolution is a VRAM issue.

^^^ I haven't had much for issues with this game either. Most people whine and complain when it doesn't work on there rig and blame it on EA. Most of the times it's just the persons set up that is the problem.
