Considering 116 points was the WHL high for points last year, Sven's looking great so far.

It's an awful game tonight for the Heat. There's probably around of 4000 people here tonight and the Heat had their chance to show these people a good hockey game and they blew it.

Just to cheer you up a little, Reinhart has two assists tonight (11 points in 6 games).

Three assists, make that.

Agreed, watching on line and kind of depressing!! Seems to be Irving has been winning the games for them. He is having an off night and they can't do anything. I think the fights were a waste of time...I would rather see skilled hockey. Looks like there is big push for fighting, not sure what that is about.

M. Reinhart with 3 assists in a 4-0 win.

Kind of a lucky game. Team seemed to be bailed out by Lieuwen.

That would be Sam Reinhart.

Max Reinhart had three assists.

I'd expect Ferland, Reinhart and Holland are getting some serious consideration for Team Canada's selection camp roster. It's revealed Monday at 9:30am.

Man that would be sweet.

Combine that with Bartschi and Granlund, and it would give us Flames fans something to cheer about over the holidays.

I hope the swiss play out of Calgary during the wjc. Wanted to see him when Portland came through but he did not play.

Flames just need a big RW prospect now. The LW and C depth looks very good for all lines going forward. Besides Nemisz and potentially Comeau...the Flames need a big RW.

I truly think Boston is a great fit for Iginla. They have some nice prospects they dont really need due to current future NHL youth and Iginla is put in a Bourque situation where he doesnt have to be the go to guy either.

Iginla value is at least worth what Smyth got from the Isles...basically three 1sts.

Something along the lines of Hamilton, Caron and Knight. Or at least 2 of the three.

Pure RW depth in the draft is really bad. You can always draft some right shooting Cs and try to convince them to play wing...however, most RWs are either named Yakupov or are late 1st picks.

The top pure RWs are:
- Yakupov, the likely #1 pick
- Frk (6'0", 200 pounds), who's spent all year out with a concussion so far...may drop down further, so if Feaster can gamble on him in the 2nd or 3rd, it'd be great
- Christobal Nieves (6'3", 190 pounds), who will take a while to the NHL, but looks amazing in my opinion.
- Colton Sissons (6'0", 180 pounds), who looks a lot like a new Shane Doan.

Went to the Rockets vs Ice game last night. Reinhart is a beast. Really looks like a man amongst boys. Blew past defenders on a couple occasions. Puck control along the board for what seemed like 30 seconds, putting the puck through his legs and the defenders. His vision as the QB on the PP was fantastic. Two of the goals were tap ins for his team mates because he drew defenders to him and fed a pass through. His shot from the point was hard and accurate. Absolute stud! At the end of the game he stood by the exit door and patted each one of his teammates on the head. Good leadership.

^^^^^I wish I could see our prospects actually play once in a while, as opposed to just reading their stats lines. Would be a lot more fun than watching the big team fumble ###### their way around the ice 3-4 times a week.

That's why I'm really hoping some of our prospects get the nod for the world junior team.

I agree with Roof-Daddy. We were suppose to see Bartschi in action earlier this year on the shaw channel but he got injured and couldn't play. Hopefully we get a good opportunity to see him and others play in the WJ's.

It was nice. The game was the same time as the Flames game, and I really didn't miss watching the Flames lose again, especially when I was watching a player who could factor into the Flames being a good hockey team again.
