Raider territory? We've been looking down on the Broncos for a few years now.

Ya that whole thing was just really stupid. You're in the media now Bruschi, take off the Pats colours. I swear there's no national media member more locally biased than a Boston-area one who's made it big.

By that you mean 1 and the start of this year? Since 2002 the Raiders haven't had a single winning season, and I think last year was the first time they won more than 5 games in a season. Thanks to Herm Edwards they did avoid last place finishes in 3 of those years.

LOL pretty balsy for a Chiefs fan to bring up history. When's the last time the Chiefs were in a Superbowl? At least the Raiders got to the dance last decade.

In regards to the Broncos, McDaniels did more damage in two years than Davis has ever done to the Raiders as every trade and draft pick he's made has been a miss. He inherited a team with some decent talent on offense and promptly traded their franchise QB and receiver and don't forget the Hillis trade lol. They have nothing to show for his drafts either. The Broncos are horrible and to boot they have the whole Tebow debate thing making things even worse for a rebuilding team as the fans want him but the coaches and players don't because he sucks. He's never going to be more than a backup or spot duty QB in the NFL. If he's the future for the Broncose so is the AFC West basement.

As for the Chiefs I suggest you look back at Haley's first season (4-12) and this season is likely looking like a 3-5 win season which would give him 2 out of 3 losing seasons as head coach which isn't much of an upgrade over Edwards. Chiefs aren't much different from the Raiders in that they have a lot of young skill and medocre starting QB's but at least Campbell makes $10 million less than Cassell. With Moeaki and Berry done for the season the Chiefs are likely done also which may not be a bad thing as Haley's an idiot and the sooner they get rid of him the better as the Chiefs won't be able to count on a historically easy schedule every year like last year.

I don't live on a rock and know fully the only fans in the AFC west that can brag about anything are Chargers fans and even they are disappointed annually. The only thing that keeps the AFC West as the embaressment of the league is the NFC West because lets face it, all of our teams have had a rough last decade. As a Raiders fan I can say with confidence that the Raiders are the 2nd best team in the AFC West and own every other team winning 8 straight games against AFC West opponents. The big question of course is can they beat teams outside of the AFC West? Looking at their schedule I'd be happy with another 8-8 season which would be good enough for 2nd place.

What?

No idea what delusional fantasy Raider fans live in, but going back just 5 years the Raiders have won 24 games.....while losing 56. The Broncos have 36 wins in that time frame. Neither team has been stellar by any means in recent years but to claim that Oakland has been "looking down" on anyone because of on or off field performance is lunacy....like Al Davis batcrap craziness.

I have no idea what KC has to do with what was being discussed but last year they were abetter than any performance that oakland has had in the last few years as well.

Also since Denver is the mile high city and Oakland sits at sea level....that cant be what is meant either.

raider fans crack me up..."just win baby"?................whoops.

You crack me up actually. Your post makes it sound like I was predicting the Raiders to make the playoffs and win the Superbowl. Why go back 5 years? Why not go back 10 years while we are at it? Oh that won't suit your argument because the Raiders were in the Superbowl then. Lets look at the present and even last year if you want but what's the point of going back 5 years? All I stated was the truth. I look down on the Broncos as a team that reminds me of the Raiders a few years back with the QB fiasco and poor drafting. That team will go nowhere until they settle the whole Tebow thing once and for all. The Raiders didn't get better until they cut Russell and the Broncos aren't going to get better until they cut Tebow. A Broncos fan takes a shot at the Raiders and I corrected him because at least the Raiders are on the right track.

No matter how you spin it...it was and is an assinine comment. The Raiders can look down on the Lions in the last few years...and that's about it.

Now if you want to compare LAST year only...then fine, the Raiders were better....so what?

And you think that the Raiders are in a better position at QB with Jason freaking Campbell?? Orton blows him away...and is younger.

I guess we make each other laugh...cause that's a doozy you are trying to sell.

I think you would have a hard time arguing either QB "blows away" the other. Seem to be pretty close to me.

No use arguing with transplant. He's never lost an argument in his own mind despite being wrong 50% of the time.

As a Lions fan the only thing that has made me feel better about my franchise is seeing the joke that the Raiders have been the past 10 years and knowing with old man Davis having lost his mind they will always be there as a joke of a franchise.

Must really hurt considering as bad as the Raiders have been the Lions have been worse over that stretch.

Yes they have but now we have some solid football guys running the team and the Raiders are still stuck with Al Davis.

I see. What was the Lions record last year with these solid football guys? I realize the Lions are a team on the rise but so are the Raiders as they were better last year and 1-0 just like the Lions this year.

Last year the Lions were 6-10 but I imagine even you know how to look that up.

The Raiders are a team on the rise?

Is there anyone expecting them to do better than 8-8 this season? Outside of maybe Mcfadden do they have young stars on the team?

Don't they still have Jason Campbell and a slew of crap Qb's leading them?

But you are right the Raiders are on the march upwards. Hey there may even be some receiver that runs a 4.1 40 next draft without any hands that Davis can draft.

I only suggested that the Raiders have been looking down on the Bronco's for one year, which I believe was accurate. Superbowl 4 was the last time the Chiefs were in the Superbowl...a good 5 years before I was even born. No doubt outside of the Marty years they probably are the second worst franchise in the NFL next to the Lions. And the Lions might be poised to finally do something here.

Lets face it the Chiefs haven't really had a franchise type quarterback since the days of Len Dawson..Joe Montana was okay, but clearly in the twilight of his career when he got to KC, hence the Chiefs awesome playoff record in the last 18 years since he retired..The Raiders haven't had a decent QB since Rich Gannon went down, and the Bronco's had a talented player in Cutler...but fired the guy who drafted him and brought in a guy who made that a sour relationship which ended in him being traded for another mediocre QB.

Either way the Chargers will more or less rule the Division until one of the other 3 teams gets serious about a QB. Matt Cassel is more or less in the last year of his deal with the Chiefs, as they'll have handed him 40 of the 63 million and all the guaranteed money has been paid. When the Chiefs turn in a 1-15 season this year, hopefully Pioli picks a QB and the right guy. I'm a touch concerned about Pioli these days....he had a good draft last year, but 2009 was awful, and the Patriots have cut bait with all their 2007 or 08 picks IIRC which he had a hand in. I certaily don't like the fact that Todd Haley hired an offensive line coach to be his puppet so he can meddle with the offence.

My point was moon that the Raiders were 8-8 last year which was better than the Lions and yes 8-8 would be a fair season this year based on having to play the strong AFC East. I realize the Raiders aren't ready to win the Superbowl but they are improving and have good young talent at key positions. Remember until proven otherwise the Lions are still the Lions.

You are correct....there is no use arguing me when i have clearly and concisely proved you the donkey you usually are...your own words man....hard to run away from are they not?

Using your parameters and your own words...you made one of the most insane claims ever made on this forum.........i called you on it and you have zero answer except to claim i have never lost an argument and am wrong half the time. Huge and massive...LARF!!

Im a 100% sure on this and have no idea where you get some arbitrary 50% thing from...unless thats your record and need some company with sitting there....but i dont think you are even close to such a number...in fact...i know you arent.

Once again...HAHAHAHA.
