OK State has something to say about that.

The loss of Broyles is going to really hurt the Sooners, I think State takes that one.
Regarding LSU/Bama, both teams knew that one mistake offensively could cost them the game. I look at it as more of a testament to the defense being played more than anything. With what was at stake, and no playoff to redeem themselves, I really can't blame them.
To be honest, as long as LSU gets past the Hogs at home, no one is going to beat them in New Orleans in the Superdome.

Your out of your damn mind....You apparently havent watched them play this year. Oklahoma State's defense couldnt stop my high school team's offense from moving the ball much less Oklahoma's. OSU has a great offense but show me what Defense they have played. OU's defense is a little better than Kansas State's, A&M's, and the other teams OSU has played.

They also have Kenny Stills, Jazz Reynolds, and Trey Franks. Its not like they dont have anymore WR's that can play. They still have more playmaking WR's than OSU does. OSU usually depends on just Blackmon to make big plays in the passing game. Of course it all depends on which Oklahoma team shows up. If its the team who showed up against Texas, Texas A&M, and K-state this thing will be over quickly. If the team that played Texas tech shows up there will be a lot of happy OSU fans on the night of Dec 3rd.

Yeah I just don't think OK State can stop anyone. They're high octane for sure but I dunno. Right now I just don't see anyone stopping LSU for the crystal ball.

sec = defense and how many national titles in a row?
BigXII = offense and no defense.
I remember that AU played good offense last year.

If OK state plays in the NC game against LSU I will take the bet that OK State would score at least 20. I don't care how good your defense is. Blackmon is not stopped by even double teams. Best college receiver I have seen since Megatron and Blackmon might even be better than him.

The issue is whether or not you can get the ball to Blackmon. I'm not completely convinced that Weeden is going to have much time to do that.

Only two teams have scored 20 against LSU this year. (Oregon 27 and WVU 21).
Remember in the championship game, Les Miles has about 6 weeks to study any offense.

Ok. State's offense is better than both of those . I am not saying OK state would win, but I am saying I will take a bet from anyone that they will score 20 and if that game happens I will bring this up and ask you and anyone else if they want to make that bet.

Oregon's famous spread offense is really good. Nobody can stop that thing.
Stanford and Oregon might score 120 points on Saturday.

Pac-10 (12 14 or whatever they are ) kool-aid. No one in that conference can stop it . This isnt the Oregon team of the last few years. I have watched them a couple times this year and they just look meh... I think just like weak offenses might make the SEC defenses look better than they are , the weak defenses in that conference really make Oregon look a lot better than they are.
That being said .... While I am an OU homer, I am pretty impressed by Okla St. Offense this year. However I dont think they match up well with LSU at all. While I think they would probably put up 21 pts on LSU's defense , OSU's defense is so bad they might let LSU's offense score double that.
It would be fun to see Les Miles vs OSU though. My favorite memory of Les Miles was before he played OU one year he made the quote " Saturday the the #1 team in the country is playing a pretty dang good football team . We will find out which one is which after the game." He then ended up getting pummeled like 51-9 or something.

Didn't Auburn and LSU stop that "unstoppable" oregon offense? Spread is a gimmick and kids realize that the spread won't get them in the NFL or prepare them for the NFL. Ask Tebow...

You do realize that Oregon still put up 27 points on LSU and probably would have scored a few more had DeAnthony Thomas known how to properly secure a ball at the time.
