Shouldn't have this much packet loss just because there are more people online. Unfortunately, there is probably some weather related issue w/ infrastructure. Oh well, will just have to wait it out.

Ahahahahaha...

Sorry...

At least it's nice and white here instead of brown, grey and full of gravel.

The snow in Calgary is going to melt and the city will be beautiful again. Edmonton will still be ugly in the spring, summer, winter or fall.

My satellite TV has been out all day. Hopefully snow didn't break the dish off my roof.

Well this is fantastic. I can barely see my car in the drive way with the 30 cm of snow all around it. Except for one side, which is completely bare, haha.

Tried to get a haircut at MVP this morning in Kensington for appt at 10, no one was there by 1010 so I left and went home. Gf wants me to come to her place, sorry today you come over here - so I am now home alone - but warm

Having lived there for 4 years, I think the question should be "Is that the best Edmonton can do?

Yes, yes it is

For once I'm happy to be in camp outside of fort mac. Hopefully it warms up for the next few days before I head home.

I'm stuck in the bottom of my apartment parking lot, tried to drive out, big mistake. Now I can't get a tow from AMA because it's not a emergency and I'm kinda blocking other cars in. I'm expecting a rock through my windshield overnight.

If AMA won't come, can you call another tow company and get a receipt for AMA? I know you used to be able to do that; as long as you called AMA first.

I'd just stay near the vehicle until someone trying to get in/out comes along. They'll likely help push you out.

^^ Good idea. Also maybe put your phone number on your windshield in a ziploc bag so if somebody is stuck they can call you. Better to get a 2am call than pay ~$200 to get it out of impound later on.

Got a tow coming, to at least get me out of the parking lot, unfortunately that's in 10 hours. One guy coming in at least helped me push myself back into 2 parking spots that are never occupied, kinda on a diagonal, so at least I'm not stopping someone else from getting out now. This parking lot is on a hill so unless the snow melts or gets a ton of traction sand, I'm not getting out without a tow. I left a note on the windshield offering my spot to someone if I am taking theirs and my phone#.

And...it's still coming down. That'll make the commute in the morning nice and fun. At least I know to get up really early and leave much earlier.
