Honduras is ahead and Panama is tied, but with Costa Rica having nothing to play for. Murica isn't actually going to straight up miss the World Cup are they?

What a memorable night. A legendary Messi performance, the two time defending Copa America champions are out, Peru punches their ticket, and the US suffers it's most humiliating night probably ever. Amazing.

And the United States are eliminated! Hell yes! Now we just need Australia to crush Honduras and the World Cup shapes up nicely.
Michael Bradley has to be one of the most overrated leaders in the game. What exactly has he won?

Michael Bradley, Arjen Robben, Alexis Sanchez and Gareth Bale walk into a bar.
They all sit down and watch the World Cup on TV.

I so love seeing America eliminated. I'm sure they'll blame the loss on the quality of the pitch

Hahahahah stupid Americans.
The Inter-confederation play-offs will be Australia vs Honduras and New Zealand vs Peru.

So if every other result still happened the same, Chile’s Appeal of their game against Bolivia, earned them two more points in the standings, but cost them a spot in the playoff.
Chile would have 2 fewer points, Peru would have three fewer points, but that would have placed Chile in the playoff spot.

I just saw this and have no idea how that was called a goal. It wasn't even close. There should have been a penalty though so the result likely would have been the same.

I think the Aussies would have preferred playing the US to avoid playing at high noon with urine bags flung at them.

What a disaster for American soccer, sitting back the program at least 4 years, and probably Fifa, to not have the US market and interest and thus advertising sponsorship, as part of the WC.
Take away some of the 2026 venues from them and put McMahon back on the list!
