Possibly. I think every time I've been there I was always looked after by a lady (I guess his wife.) A couple times there might have been a younger guy helping out as well.

Except that they are restaurants, bars and cafes that draw people and change the street life vs. tailors and nail salons.

It may not be awesome but it's nothing like Westhills. The only almost big-box chain businesses are Shoppers and Safeway, unlike the cookie cutter mix of every power centre everywhere.

Westhills needs to be nuked and the traffic engineer who designed that place needs to be shot. Not quite as much of an abortion as Beacon hill but must be the same person.

They added the one exit onto westhills way by best buy which is a help. But yes it’s a disaster.

Beacon Hill is the gateway to Hell.

It's my closest Costco by far, but I rather goto Tsus Tina or Balzac than that one.

Years and years ago I worked for a small accounting company but one thing my boss was adamant about was Lunch.

Every day he would take us all out for lunch, there were only 4 of us including him, but we always went out for lunch. And lunch...was an hour and a half.

As you can imagine, my boss at the time was a fairly hefty fellow (~350) and he took lunch really very seriously.

And he loved his buffets, especially...I forget the name now, it used to be on McLeod and Bonaventure Drive...'A Taste of China?' Something like that.

If you didn't have at least 4 plates of food he would get legitimately angry with you for wasting his time and money.

But what can I say? I cant eat 4 plates of Chinese food for lunch and then go back to work for 4 or 5 hours. After that I am 1000% done and I need a nap and/or praying for a swift death.

Which would also make him legitimately angry.

I did that for a while because it was lunch but also a semi team-building event, but eventually I just...I had to stop. So I started bringing my own lunch. Just...shoveling buffet food into your facehole for years on end...it was slowly killing me.

I get home from work and my buddies call me up: "Want to hit up the Pub for wings and beer? Lets go man!"

No...I am going to lay here on my couch and hope sweet Death mercifully takes me.

Good news, soon you can go to one in Bingham Crossing. Rumor has it.

I want to get excited about this but I fear it is just going to be a nightmare as well. It looks like it will all be roundabouts which might make flow better but at the same time for people returning to Calgary there doesn't seem to be any upgrade to access onto TCH east bound. The best option might be to go down the township road to Old Banff Coach Road but the Springbank residents might get pissed at the extra traffic.

The GM of the McLeod location is a life long STH and an absolutely delightful human being.

The rent wasn't cheap, but the price of chicken is what did them in.

They both look identical through the windshield which is how they're most commonly seen.

Genuine question - have you ever actually been to Marda Loop? Fine if it's not your thing but in no way does it resemble Westhills. You'd have to be blind to think so.

I think it was called Treasures of China.

That appears to be the perfect balance for those with good spice tolerance, it was hot but not overpowering the flavor of the chicken. I'll probably give the Reaper version a try for curiosity sake next time, but I can't imagine the flavor will be anything great since Reapers themselves are #### chilis aside from the heat
Saw a youtube of a guy who ate one. He finished it but regretted it. A lot.

Yes. It's the same.

People that live around Marda Loop are like vegans, cross fitters and Tesla drivers too.
