It sounds like the reason Riddle was written off TV is because he failed his second drug test and was told after his first failed test that it would either be rehab or be fired if he failed again.
This time it can't be pot because WWE no longer counts that as a banned substance.

That's a good deal for the WWE as Regal is invaluable in terms of development and training. Will miss him yelling "WARGAMES" though.

Sounds like he's off to rehab for 30 days, I've never been a huge fan of Riddles, and he seems to just generate heat backstage. He was at his best when Orton was around.

Sounds like Vince McMahon is facing some new accusations of sexual assault. Coming from this it also sounded like McMahon was going to step back into the WWE as he felt that he received bad advice to step away and everything would have blown over if he had stayed in his role.
I hope he doesn't come back.

I think if he tried to come back there would be a mutiny by the board. Though Vince owns the majority shares.
I haven't watched a whole lot of wrestling in the last while, so I can't comment on the state of it in its entirety, except the AEW stuff is really bad, and the WWE stuff is pretty bland and disconnected.

Vince always was a creepy old man. The stuff he did with Trish Stratus was disturbing and its not surprise all this is coming about him being a
I don't think wrestling will ever be like it was when WCW and WWF had that hot time during 96-99.
I don't even watch wrestling anymore, but I had a friend tell me to watch AWE a while back, what a complete WCW ripoff and the talent sucks. The Young Bucks doing flips and superkicks all the time.

The Trish stuff wasn't as weird as his interactions with Stephanie.
He even wanted at one time to do a edgy incest angle.
I mean there's no doubt that in his height he was a genius. We will never see ratings like we saw during the Monday Night wars where the ratings were considered low if they were in the 5's. Now AEW isn't even hitting a million viewers and Raw and Smackdown are below 2 million viewers.
But Vince got old and stuck in his ways. Tony Kahn isn't running AEW like a business, its a social club, and the top wrestlers don't wrestle for fan entertainment, they wrestle for the memes and the boys in the back.
Major league wrestling right now is bad. The formula is wrong.

Trish? His Stacey Keibler stuff was the stuff of nightmares and then there was the other Blonde Woman, can't for the life of me remember her name...just Googled it, Torrie Wilson.
Like I recall the Trish stuff but it was legitimate XX porn with Keibler.

The thing that was tough for me to discern back 8n the day was if they were writing parodies and meta perspectives on corporate lifestyles or if it really was McMahon just sleezing it up.
Because at the time, the whole Schtick of the McMahon Era was to ultra villainize corporate America. Look what they did with Trump.
In the end, looks like it really was just Vince being a sleeze.

Sounds like Mandy Rose was released today. Speculation is that she was posting content beyond WWE's comfort on a fan site of hers. The title change last night makes a bit more sense now.

fan site = Only Fans
Pretty sure her content was moving beyond what was effectively softcore porn, but that's just the scuttlebutt.

It was leaked last week. It was definitely moving that direction, but I think WWE didn't care as long as it stayed behind the pay wall. The moment it got out they pulled the plug.
A damn shame considering how much she had improved over the last year and a bit but people on Reddit were saying she was making $2k + for ten minute live shows. I'm know mathematics or body health professor but those numbers for much less stressful work seem like a good deal.

At this point, because WWE has some very high profile partners, and sponsorships. Having a WWE really pushing the boundaries into adult content just ain't going to fly.
And according to reports she was pushing that envelope pretty hard. But she according to reports was charging people $30.00 a month and had 10,300 likes. So she was probably making ludicris amounts of money. She frankly doesn't need wrestling and it sounds like she knew this would probably get her fired.
She'd been a brightspot in NXT since she got there and vastly improved her work rate over the last year. I expect that Tony is going to add to his bloated roster.
In other news HHH isn't over the moon impressed with the wrestlers that he bought back when he took over. I expect some fresh releases to happen.

Too bad, I personally don't care what people do outside of work, but I guess WWE does enough. Perhaps she was venturing too far into the R-rated stuff which got WWE worried.
I was low-key looking for one more Otis/Mandy storyline run. That first one was tons of fun and really got Otis over!

There's a line you can't really cross when your working for a public traded company with a ton of sponsors and networks, and yeah she was into the R rated side of things.
she had also known that she was pushing or crossing that line.
WWE had started tolerating a lot of their wrestlers doing their own thing on the side, but Mandy blew that away. I doubt she cares. she was probably making a lot more on her fantime page for a lot less physical work.
Tony won't be able resist signing her anyways if push comes to shove. Even with Saraya back their woman's division just isn't very good. They need to rebuild it.

Yeah she likely crossed a line from WWE's corporate perspective, but I personally don't care about that kind of stuff. WWE has an image to maintain I suppose. What someone does behind closed doors, I don't give two ####s about. Gaming, political activism, OnlyFans / porn, you do you. Show up to work and wrestle well and put 100% in, that's all I care about. That's just me though.

Except she's selling and promoting it so its really not behind closed doors. With Paige's videos coming out and not getting fired, her phone was hacked and the video's distributed, that's the essence of behind closed doors.
And it sounds like she's actually chosen what will probably be a pretty lucrative porn career over wrestling as it sound like the release was mutual.

I saw a screenshot on Twitter of her announcement page from apparently August asking people to stop leaking photos because WWE was on her case about it. Then she proceeded to tell people to watch her do things with vegetables.
So she had to have known she was taking a risk but did it anyway rather than tone it down. It sounds like it has something to do with the contract with Mattel and she breached it.

Like I said, I don't think WWE cared until it got out from behind the paywall.
