Answer: it isn't in the budget to fly Kit Harrington to Alberta to pet a wolf.

Dany really just ought to attack the castle at night. Wait for dark skies and bad weather then fly in. They can't hit what they can't see.

Truth.
Can't believe there were so many people clamouring for more WW content. Instead of all the manoeuvring we see now it's just an hour and a half of corpses silently shuffling.

I really want to see houses uniting behind Jon on his way down the kingsroad. If they only knew... I think Dorne's going to have a presence at least, otherwise why mention the new prince and his allegiance.
Would be very satisfying to see the White Wolf with a massive army of Westerosis to pluck out the "blonde bitch" as the Hound would say.
Could Dany send a long distance raven to Daario and the Second Sons?

I'll take a right field stab: Lord Gendry Baratheon of Storm’s End becomes king with most of the main players passing. As he is no longer a bastard, it should give him a decent claim

She has definitely never shown much cleverness in how to leverage those dragons in actual battle. They are a massive advantaged weapon, bit not used very deftly.

Well that totally made up for last week's Pitch Black World War Z crapfest!
9/10. 10/10 if they would have shown Arya and Sansa's reaction to Jon Snow's reveal.
Glad another dragon is out of the picture.
I can see Tyrion and or Varys poisoning Dany by the end. The Queenslayers!

To be fair to the Dothraki leader taking away only half the pieces on the map...
He doesn't speak the language, and Horde battle tactics are pretty much a bag of crack cocaine and a sword. He probably had no idea what was going on.
Everyone is taking half of tiny chips away. I take half of tiny chips away.

If they can have Jon Snow flying around the sky like the Neverending Story they can have him pet a damn dog! That was super sad.
Not sure why they need a 12 person Calgary unit to film Ghost's scenes. He was literally in it for like 5 seconds in episode 3 and 20 seconds tonight. Couldn't they find a husky?

Great episode with some tense moments and a solid set up for next week.
The lack of any military strategy is bugging me though. There was no reason to travel to Dragonstone other than because the plot demanded it. Same with how Euron is able to attack out of no where, killing a dragon and sinking a fleet, but then just decides to sail back to Kings Landing and chill.

They made a point of showing the last dragon way off in the distance, not just outside the wall. Dany wasn't going to make that mistake again.

Thinking that Arya is the one to kill Cersie, as they have been dropping hints on that. Then The Mountain kills Arya, and The Hound kills The Mountain for it. Or The Hound distracts The Mountain giving Arya a chance. They have spent a lot of time on showing The Hound and Arya, it's got to have some sort of payoff like this.

Jamie doesn't know that Cersei is carrying his child right? I see a scene where he's ready to take her down which she tells him about the child to which he ceases, only for her to turn the tables and kill him while his guard is down. Just a hunch about how their story will end.

That's what I thought in their last scene together when he takes off. I just can't see him killing her as long as she's carrying his child. I think she will kill him and TBH he has it coming as while they have made him more of a sympathetic and likable character the past season he's still one of the more despicable characters on the show going back to the beginning.
