And just to reiterate, I do appreciate that there is discussion and I do read it all, and certainly there's posters in there that aren't talking out of their asses and jumping on the latest player bandwagon with zero personal understanding of the player.

I realized that my gear grinder may have come off a little ornery or like I'm bashing CP, but I'm more just fascinated that so many posters seem to just post their thoughts because they feel they need to post thoughts even with zero of their own analysis.

For example: I was at the Flames game yesterday and feel like when you really watch Hudler's game, he's making so many smart plays and he does so many things without the puck that go missed on TV.

Awesome. It's someone's own thoughts, and adds value.

As opposed to: I want Ricthie, as many have him at number 3 now.

Okay. Who had him at 3? Sportsnet, and then because of that a bunch of CP'ers? Great, so what are your actual thoughts on him? Oh, just whatever everyone else says? Excellent, thanks.

I must have missed this, but I'm quite certain you don't. Another thing that grinds my gears - people whose arguing style includes lots of leading questions.

I'm not even sure wtf you are talking about anymore. Why don't you point out the legalities of what I said, because I really don't know.

Hey white people of forest lawn; time to take the confederate flag licence plates off your vehicles, you redneck, ignorant ****s. Saw three just driving through there today.

With having immigrant employees that live in that area and hearing the stories, I really wish we could just round up the poor, white rednecks of that community and ship them down to the southern states. Losers.

Yeah, just front novelty plates haha. I think it's hilarious that our reputation is so bad in Alberta that a guy from bc entertained the idea that our government may be offering confederate flag registered plates, lol.

That's when we're not coating baby ducks in oil and setting them on fire.

There's nothing more stupid than Canadians with Confederate flags.

And I've seen plenty of them in BC too. The BC interior is perhaps even more hillbilly than anything you see in Alberta.

Spend a weekend in Quensel sometime and that "perhaps" will change to an "absolutely".

Forest lawn in general gmgs. My girlfriends mom lives there so I've been in the area a lot recently. Each time involves many near miss accidents, almost running over pedestrians that just run out into the road and expect you to stop (and get mad and try to fight you if you dont), people that give you dirty looks just for driving by, etc etc. And it's not just white rednecks, I'd argue that forest lawn is the most racially equal area in the city. Because everyone there sucks, regardless of colour.

That "gigantic" iPhone commercial gets me pretty fired up. Arguably worse than the Danny and Mrs. Travis Telus commercial.

Smashing Pumpkin's new album being called "Day For Night". There can only be one Day for Night and it was an amazing album released by the Tragically Hip in '94.
