Yikes. Tough night for Berrios.

Game is still early. On the plus side it's the Angels. On the minus side it's Ohtani pitching.

Yeah, and while Berrios wasn't getting the close calls, Ohtani has been. I think you give him a shot at the third and see if he can sort it out but if he walks another that's it.

Grrr. The Yankees are unstoppable right now. Frustrating as they and Oakland are the only teams hotter than the Jays as of late.

Edit. As soon as I type that the Yanks get walked off. Wooo!

Ohtani getting some pretty ridiculous calls given how tight the zone is for Berrios.

See, that one wasn't Berrios' fault at all. That was a great pitch and Iglesias was super lucky to get that in play. I'd have let him finish the inning personally.

Thornton IS JUNK! How many more opportunities does he need to prove that he is not worthy of a spot on an MLB pitching staff. Personally would have left Berrios in especially if the alternative is Thornton.

At least Boston and New York also lost I guess.

So sick and tired of injuries to the bullpen. We've been having to trot out crappy relief pitchers all year FFS. Hurry up and get healthy Pearson, Merryweather and Mayza.
