Ive seen guys use tape wrapped around fingers too, but because its the throwing hand, its not as common. I think the first guy that I saw do it was Pudge.

so with that Upton trade they gave up according to BA their 18th best prospect, and are only paying 5m of the 22m remaining owed to Upton
that just seems like a complete no brainer win
