Admittedly I enjoyed Russic in small does when he was a guest on the old Boomer show and I gave it a chance but it just isn't clicking for me. Doesn't help their cause much with the recent boom (no pun intended) of Canadian sports podcasts to pick from for the drive to work.

I quite like their show. I think they have great chemistry and I think Russic is entertaining. I don't mind the callers and I think their bits like reading the tweets are fun.

100% it’s the best is been in years as Boomer’s schtick etc. was growing old. He obviously needed a reset.

Russic & Rose are funny, entertaining, and both ask engaged intelligent questions.

Good radio feels like you’re eavesdropping on an interesting conversation at a coffee shop.

Yeah it's still awful. Forced and awkward. No idea how yoanyone could hear it as a conversation or identify "chemistry" in what I'm hearing

It's nice to have lots of things to listen to. Start with Russic and Rose followed by Barn Burner then in the afternoon Hockey Central Fan 960 and Flames Talk. It's better than just having Flames Talk.

Yep the timing throughout the day is pretty good. Sprinkle in some Spittin Chiclets or Monday Nooner podcast and it works ouy well during the day. Plus having a bunch of other podcasts from Duthie to Walker I am liking it.

Russic and Rose will take time too. I am sure people didn’t like Boomer when he first started. Has it even been a month for them yet?

I tried earlier this morning, and gave it a solid 7-8 minutes. Whatever that dragon thing is though, I just couldn't do it. That show is doomed. I'm sure those guys are nice enough in real life, but it's brutal.

Haha dang, unfortunate timing. I think they're fine (though definitely a far cry from the Barn Burner boys), but the dragon segment is brutal. He had an old Toronto buddy on for it today and mentioned at the start how he brought it to Calgary, so clearly it was a regular feature on his old gig out there. Did Torontonians actually like that segment or something? Or did he just ignore their complaints lol.

I agree they're finding their way and think they're fine (not great, but fine), we were just spoiled for so long. But that dragon segment needs to be put out to pasture.
