Kevin Nash's son Tristen has passed away. Horrible year for Kevin, first Scott Hall now his son.

Yeah, the longer he spends at the top of the card the less invested in him I get. His personality and style can carry a program at the start but it gets old and repetitive. It gives me more appreciation for why WWE never had him at the top of the card for anything other that short spurts.

I still think they should have put the belt on MJF without him needing to win a match.

Wins the Casino chip by default with Stokely.

Come out and challenge CM Punk who can't defend due to injury/suspension, win by default.

MJF is your champ.

Would have been the most toxic and best heel move ever.

Very tragic and sad news. Can't imagine losing your son that young. Hopefully the bad guy greeted him at the pearly gates. RIP.

Put it on Bryan to put over MJF, let Mox take his time off.

It wasn't hard and they still ####ed it up.

This was the second obvious move.

Let Danielson win the title - didn't even need to have Mox in the tournament.

Then MJF takes it off him.

I like using Bryan for three reasons:

He's a known name that makes MJF even bigger

Bryan wants to work with the younger talent so this will also appeal to something he wants to do

It allows for MJF to tie up some other loose ends for a month or two as we lead into this title run.

What makes this even worse is that today would've been Scott Hall's 64th birthday.

He's up there with Jeff Jarrett for having the saddest single day. Jeff's best friend was Owen Hart and Owen passed on May 23rd 1999, On May 23rd 2007 Jeff's Highschool sweetheart, Wife and mother of his Children Jill, passed away of Cancer.

That's a cry yourself to sleep day.

I knew he's been away because he was hurt but I didn't think it was this serious.

Love Ciampa and think he would have gotten a great push under HHH.

Guess we can look forward to a fun return now though.

More info on the Punk AEW incident

https://wrestlingheadlines.com/cm-pu...ng-melee-more/

Quote:
As noted earlier, it was revealed on tonight’s AEW Dynamite that AEW Executive Vice Presidents Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks will be returning soon as a vignette, seen here, aired early on in the show. The Elite has been suspended since early September due to the AEW All Out incident, which saw Omega and The Bucks fight with CM Punk, who is now injured, and former AEW Producer Ace Steel, who was let go last week. There have been reports of a potential contract buy-out for Punk, and potential legal action, but nothing has been confirmed past Steel’s departure, and the initial suspensions.
In an update, Punk’s camp issued notes to Wrestling Inc’s Nick Hausman tonight following the confirmation that The Elite is returning to AEW programming soon. The following notes were revealed from Punk’s camp:
* It was said that AEW has not reached out to Punk since the All Out incident. Punk was allegedly asked to stay quiet, and he agreed to do so. From the perspective of Punk’s camp, the post-All Out media scrum didn’t seem like a big deal, and only escalated once Punk’s locker room door was “kicked in” and accidentally hit Punk’s dog, Larry, in the face. At a pre-scheduled veterinarian appointment a few days later, Punk was informed that two of Larry’s teeth had been knocked loose, and had to be removed
* Punk’s camp said he felt threatened and reacted in a legal way under Illinois’ Castle Doctrine laws, which allow for the use of force in defense of a person in their dwelling. At this time, there is no litigation against Punk on behalf of anyone else involved. It was also said that Steel’s wife Lucy was in the room during the incident, but has not been interviewed as a part of the third-party investigation into the incident
* It was also said that following Adam Page’s comments on a May episode of Dynamite, alluding to backstage concerns about Punk, there was distrust on Punk’s end going into his Double Or Nothing match with Page, and that Punk was concerned that the pre-determined match would break down into a real physical fight
It should be noted that Hausman was the reporter that Punk initially began an exchange with during the All Out media scrum, asking if he was friends with Colt Cabana.

Would check out with CM Punk’s logic:

Small mention of “workers rights” in a promo: Huge Deal and going into business for yourself

Scathing press conference just destroying people: Not a big deal

Watching the Trish vs Victoria hard core match.

They pretty much just beat the s$$t out of each other, and there are a ton of unprotected head shots in it.

Remember this was the era where people would walk into Chair shots blind.

Great interaction in yesterday's Renee Paquette / MJF interview:

Renee - "Max you can't just say 'with all due respect' and then insult someone like that"

MJF - "Renee with all due respect shut your mouth."

AWE Dark has had some great Canadian content on it.

Dillon Davis from St. John's has been on every show I've had the pleasure of working, and is a hell of a good guy.

Start at 23:19

KC Spinelli has worked a number of local shows here, excellent worker, is great with the fans

Starts at 42:29

There are others, but I know those two personally.

I remember sitting behind those two blonde twins at a WWE house show in Vancouver around 2014. I thought it was pretty weird they were dressed exactly alike.

*Edit*
Found a picture of them during Bray Wyatt's entrance. It was 2015.

Spoiler!

Man, these segments with Sami Zayn and the Bloodline are hilarious

Sami got Roman and Logan Paul to break character a couple weeks ago when he was talking about LP being a #2. Roman had to turn his face away from the camera trying to hide his face since he was laughing so hard

Sami did it again to Roman and this time to Jey Uso when he said Jey wasn't being Ucey enough. Roman just went with it this time and just laughed as he couldn't hide it anymore. Jey tried to keep a straight face/mean look but had to turn away a couple times since he couldn't stop laughing

Sami is just killing it as an honourary Uce. Not sure where this is going but its a fun ride so far.

Maybe Roman turns on Jey or Sami and then one of them brings back The Rock as the true tribal chief.

I think eventually they might finally turn on Sami and then set up a Sami/Owens vs Usos feud.
