I get that Dolis had a bunch of clean innings before coming into this game. But was he really the best choice to come in to try and clean this up?

He had the leftie warm to face Ohtani, not sure why he didn't use him

A bit unlucky today. Springer hit that one on the screws and it was fielded perfectly for a nice double play. Vlad losing that ball in the sun. Even that single Dolis gave up was a pretty good pitch. Anyways I love the 7 inning games when the Jays are up by a few, but hate them when they're down a few! Weird!

Angels seem to always play the Jays tough, and Upton seems to always show up.

Yeah just felt like the Angels were going to win this one after the Vladdy Gaff. Angels scored all 6 runs with 2 outs. Some poor D. It just wasn't in the cards.

Beauty of a double header is if you win the next one its a moot point.

I'm starting to get a little concerned with Vladdy at the plate. Mostly because his walk rate is way down. His OBP is near .400 down nearly .050 points in the last month. He seems anxious at the plate and pounding balls into the ground like he did his first two seasons.

Bullpen sucks and Montoya is a bad manager. Feels like June again

Jays are 27-15 since June 19th. Best in the AL.

He is definitely fighting it a bit, I am not too worried. He has hit the ball hard right at some guys. His BABIP over the past 30 days is something like .217, which means he has been pretty darn unlucky.

Vladdy gets jammed for a bloop hit and an RBI. Hopefully that gets the big guy going.

Good start to game #2.

Vladdy is a heck of a baserunner this year. He’s as fast as he thought he was last year.

Man. Ohtani is special.

He can pitch. Hit can hit. And boy can he run.

That was akin to a bloop triple.

Hopefully he gets the #### out of Anaheim.

I think that was an out at 2nd, he lost the ball after the tag when he swung his glove around

He is kind of what I envision if Lebron James played baseball.

I think they gotta get Vladdy out of the 2 hole for a shake up. It seems meaningless but some batters are more adept at the top versus others. He likes to swing at the first pitch and the 3 hole, especially behind someone like Semien, allows him to see more pitches to begin the game. And I think that's a good thing for Vladdy.

Springer
Semien
Guerrero
Bichette
Hernandez

Lets get it done Montoyo.

Those looked right down the middle but had Ohtani completely fooled. Come on Jay's get some insurance runs here!

I really like Espinal. Every time I watch a Jay's game he impresses me.

Oh boy... Bases loaded, two outs for the league leader in HR's with his team down by 4 in the bottom of the 7th...
