Can't argue with that logic. The true mark of an oiler

No argument here. If Karlsson goes anywhere, he can pick and choose. And that choice should never be Edmonton.

Because of his years in boring & snowy Ottawa I doubt he gives the thumbs up to be moved back north of the border again

If he was UFA I think he would just for a run

But given that there is term, I think he would be much more selective about the location.

For sure. He’d put up with a couple months in Edmonton and 7 days in Colorado but not 4 years.

They both look stoned out of their minds. Talk about beady eyed!!!
And Connor’s gonna be pissed when he sees the 700th on his side and the 800th on Pissy’s side.

Reading through HFOil, and it never fails to amuse me there that the fans are so fast to call every penalty against them a game management penalty, but absolutely fail to realize how much their team benefits from clear and obvious game management.

Ironically, it’s right under the exit sign.

Likely already been mentioned …but what’s the record for biggest delta between points and plus/minus?

Have to think that McLotteryBall’s season is in the running.

In NHL history, 47 players have scored at least 100 points in a season and still been a minus player.
In 1989-90, Sakic had 102 points and was -40. In 1984-85, Mario had 100 points and was -33.

The most points scored in a season by a minus player was Mario in 1985-86, with 141 points and -8.

McD was a plus 15 or something last year in the playoffs when it mattered most, and that was with Mike Smith in net. I haven’t checked but I’m sure Mario and Sakic were improved in that stat as well come playoff time. The narrative around here is that all McD cares about are his personal stats in the regular season. I do think he does care about that, despite how much he plays it off… because he’s driven to be the best… BUT he cares waaay more about winning a cup, and yes, that can be for selfish reasons as well. I’m not saying he isn’t selfish, but every player is to some degree.
