My bitch is that I used to own property in a small Ontario town and got a very similar run-around, so I know this BS really does happen.
My purposes were residential whereas his are commercial but man, dealing with Town Councils? Been there. Done that. Have killed for less.
But like I said, I DGAF about Clarkson, I find him hilarious despite knowing that hes an ass, but I know he's wealthy and he's backed by Amazon, I feel for the other local farmers who are putting up with the same BS and are hoping to latch onto Clarkson's sails and make a few bucks...because Farming is hard damned work!
His locally sourced restaurant sounded like a great idea. Milk from here, Pork from there, etc. Everyone would benefit except that one rambler moron who likes an uninterrupted view of the night sky.

I just watched the second night of John Mulaney's live talk show, Everybody's In LA, and it's a hot chaotic mess that I absolutely love.
Streaming live all this week.

Revisiting The Deuce after giving up on it for whatever reason in the second season. It seems like this series really flew under the radar for HBO at the time. The early 70s vibe and immersion is awesome, and even when there isn't much going on I still feel entirely engrossed.

double whammy of it being an HBO Monday show, folks being out on James Franco, and Covid I suspect.

Watched the first couple episodes of Apple TV's "Dark Matter" last night. While mostly predictable and yet another multiverse themed show, I still liked it, has potential.
Also... Jennifer Connelly's nice to look at.

Sugar (Apple) just got a whole lot more interesting (I hesitate to say 'better'.)

Shhh don’t say anything. No one google it. If you’re gonna watch Sugar just start watching it’s only six 30 minute episodes. Go in cold and read nothing else.
Interesting show that I’ve changed my initial opinion on.

I thought the book was fantastic, so I've been really looking forward to this one.
Going to start it tonight.

I thought the writing/story telling was a solid 8.5 and sometimes slipping into a 9/10.
Overall enjoyment was 7.2.
Usually those two numbers are the same for me, but not in this case. I would say it was worth watching, though. A certain episode was a real gut punch (don't want to say which one to avoid even a hint of a spoiler, but you'll know once you see it).

Did you read the book? I have been waiting for this one for a long time and don't want to be disappointed.

Nope hadn't read this one and knew basically nothing about it going in other than it was sci-fi on Apple, who's had a pretty good track record so far.

Infinite multiverse stuff bores me. I know there are theories on it, but it's basically a cheat code for lazy writing. Nothing interesting ever comes out of it because anything, nay, everything is possible at all times. If it wasn't, then it isn't an infinite multiverse. And if everything is possible, nothing is unexpected.
I'm not sure who came up with this type of story first(wake up in a different strange world, slightly different than your own) but Philip K Dick probably wrote my favourite version of this with "Flow my Tears, the Policeman Said".

Dark City : The Cleaner on showcase has me watching with interest.
2 episodes in so far, and its a good blend of dark humour, serial killer mindset.
It’s a New Zealand Dexter to some degree.
Give it a shot .

Hacks S3 has started and is so far very good. Funny. Just like the first 2 seasons were.
If you are not watching this you should be.
