That tracks in the N.W.O theory and why he's on a total western hemisphere annexing rant too. Next you'll hear about a new north american unified currency called something like the Amero or some such thing.

Only one week in and it’s already a complete disaster. And he hasn’t even gotten to the tariff stuff yet. The question is how much more of this insane crap will normal Americans just sit back and take before people inevitably lose their s*** and take to the streets? This is gonna be a wild 4 years.

Lol! The funny part about this statement is that the people who would 'take to the streets' are the Pro-Trumpers!
The dissenters are in their homes sipping Cognac and thinking "well....I never!" and thusly fainting into their stack of books.

Surprisingly enough since now it's starting to affect them personally, a few members on r/conservative are very slowly starting to become self-aware of who they voted in. Not everyone mind you, but a few small cracks are showing in some of their threads.
My favorite quote from u/maktesh:

Indeed. I know several people (including a family member) who work at various relief agencies; they aren't even allowed to give out food and blankets (to people who are here legally) with the latest order.
The issue here is that much of this was already promised and in the pipeline. It's one thing to cut off future agreements, but it's another to leave people stranded when they've already been set up to fail.
This is negatively affecting SIVs and legitimate refugees, such as hunted/persecuted Christians.
For example, people can no longer receive the already-allocated funds for things like rental assistance. Agencies have already walked them through signing leases and getting ready to find work, but can no longer help with that. This harms the people renting homes (edit: and landlords, who are often people with a spare home) and is essentially going to heighten the homeless problem. And keep in mind that these refugees have to repay their travel loans. For non-SIVs, they aren't given free gifts. Just an interest-free six-year loan.
I support slowing/stopping immigration until we sort out the issues, but going back on our promises and leaving people in the streets isn't how we make America great again.

Very interesting to see that they spent all last week praising Trump and laughing at Libs, but the literal moment if affected them, it's "whoa hold on a sec!".

Thats sort of the thing.
Rhetoric is easy. Life is hard.
Knowing the difference before it bites you in the ass is the key.

r/conservative is an amazing place to browse these days. So much cognitive dissonance. When Trump says something they like they praise him as the greatest. When he says something they don't like, it's "let's wait and see" or "that's not what he meant to say".

Presumably the "find out" part starts happening to these "politicians" really soon, once Americans realize they do have a way to fight back against the tyranny of evil, and it involves that little second amendment and a mountain of guns higher then Denali.
Reminder, you can only take so much from people, until they reach the point of losing everything, and then they have nothing left to lose.

The American government had the foresight in 1945 to immediately help Germany after that very country inflicted untold destruction and terror on them and their Allies. Even with their wounds still fresh, America knew it was smart to help their former enemy.
Today, the American government antagonizes their not their enemy but their own allies for what appears to be no reason except their leader's hubris.
What happened to America???

Secret Service investigates the counterfeiting of money. It was almost certainly related to that.

He's consolidating power in the West Wing. Effectively if anything requires federal funding, Trump is essentially getting the power to choke it off. So it actually doesn't matter what the actual law is, if it takes federal money to enforce or implement or maintian, Trump controls it.

He replied that there would be a lot of economic advantages, and then asked if it's true Canadians often have lengthy wait times for things like a MRI.
I told him Canada had one of the highest standards of living in the world, and that our healthcare prioritized the most needed cases. I also pointed out that with "cradle to grave" health coverage, Canadians were less likely to allow medical problems to progress (like Cancer) that would eventually kill Americans who either didn't have coverage, or delayed too long out of financial concerns, thereby leaving their families fatherless and destitute and a burden on their communities.
He listened reasonably, and replied that clearly there were varying economic outcomes. I don't mean to paint him with some MAGA brush. He literally just didn't know much about Canada. I suppose that's the case for most Americans.
|
Wait times for things are vastly overstated, and MRIs here are just like there - if you can afford it you can go right away. But if you can't, you at least getr one here. There you don't.

You didn't mention Greenland. Or Canada. Or Columbia. Or that for federal disaster aid, blue states need to pass voter ID laws.
I read an article today that this is "the flood plan". MAGA floods the system with all these orders, and there isn't enough attention our outrage or resistance to push back against everything.
Seems to be working.
