So what if starseed received a lynchproof? He drives us to vote him over Puxlut
If Mafia has another 2 nightkill up their sleeves it could be game over.
Right now I'm sticking to my bucket result and lack of belief in Puxlut.
Vote Puxlut

While entirely possible (and what isn't in this game), I think it's unlikely.
GP_Matt got the first invite from either group and probably given the lynchproof so that we didn't oust him on the spot for doing something "weird" early on in the game. That didn't go so well for him anyway. Looking back through the posts to get the information about what powers were given with what invites, that theory came up a couple times. And to me, it makes sense.
I think the probability of him getting lynch proof is less likely then a kill.

A kill isn't too bad. I mean it would suck but we should still have enough to lynch with 4 living against their 3 votes (since Timbo has one).
But Puxlut was offered extra votes earlier (from Guardians), right?
If Starseed received that power, that's a game ender there. If he received even a single extra vote, they would have enough votes to lynch Timbo. Kill 1 of us in the night and enter tomorrow 3-2 with their extra vote forcing the tie.
If Puxlut switches her vote to Timbo we need to be able to hammer Starseed immediately in my opinion. And even then they can coordinate it in their chat so we might not have a shot.
I have a Guardians invite, there's no threats or consequences and the power would be extremely useful with no downside. It's almost too good to be true, will almost certainly let it expire but will keep it in my back pocket to make the mafia guess (if by slim chance they aren't the ones sending).

What's even more worrisome is he didn't even announce he had an invite or anything, trying to be secret about it.
If it was good for the town, he would have wanted to explain a bit and not tried to be sneaky with it. The sneakiness makes me worried he could do some damage with it.

One of my concerns as well.

We have two options. One is wait for starseed to explain himself, and then make a decision after we hear from him. The risk with that is he could be mafia with a kill, but he could also be town with a kill. The other option is lynch him before he can use the kill (although formulate tried to use his kill after he was lynched, so who knows).
I'm kind of leaning towards the wait and see, just because I'm not sure what to do. I would hate to quick lynch if he is town, but if he is scum and we give him time to use his kill I will also be kicking myself.

If he's town and he has a day kill, it's extremely obviously what needed to be done. The fact he didn't already do it makes me believe that isn't the case. He should have shot Puxlut, proved he was town and then we could follow his lead as the only 100% confirmed townie and at least know that it wouldn't be mafia leading us. The fact that Starseed has mentioned several times about proving the MOT leaves me no doubt he would have considered that plan.
So in my opinion, he can't be town with a day kill. He could be town with a night kill, but I don't think I could give him the benefit of the doubt based on all my reasons thinking he is mafia even before this incident.
If he's mafia with a day kill, it might not be a big deal. He kills one of us, we still lynch him by a vote of 4-3 and enter tomorrow 3-1 against Puxlut. Unless there's a double night kill and it's 2-1 and with Starseed dead they can't get the extra vote. (EXCEPT OOPS, just thinking this through it was Aeneas that confirmed Starseed and Puxlut have to target the person together for vote, that could obviously be a lie and only 1 of them actually has that power...might be why Starseed was okay dieing over Puxlut. Uggh.)
It's the extra vote that would cost us the game. If he comes in and votes for Timbo with Puxlut we lose (1 from their power, 1 from the Eternals, and their 2 votes is a lynch). The day ends 4-2, night kill brings us 3-2, and they tie the vote 3-3 tomorrow for the win.

Or being an eternal power, whatever it is, doesn't work and we're still at square one.

I find it hard to fathom that he didn't mention what his invite was in your mason thread. Do you want to disclose what the power was, if he did?

Ever since he came to Calgary his pm's have been alot less. I had to check when he sent his last message... it was before his last message here.
Maybe he really does have a life?

I've got another interview (yes, I actually have this many. I wish someone would hire me already because even I'm sick of this excuse) so I'll be off for a couple hours. Please don't have all hell break loose when I'm gone.
If I don't return, its because I haven't ridden the LRT system in 10 years and only vaguely have a clue where I am going. If anyone sees someone wandering downtown in a business suit muttering something about lynches and mafia, it's me and could you kindly point me in the direction of how to get back to Dalhousie Station.

His last post here was at 4:19, and Mazrim updated the front page at 5:10. That means he got the invite and accepted it between 4:19 and 5:10 without even talking to you about it? The invites give 24 hours to reply, why the rush and why not even mention it to you at the very least?

He sent me a post at 4:13 saying that he had a couple of ideas on a couple of people that he wanted to investigate. That's it?

So basically you know as much as us, even though he is your mason partner?

I'm his mason partner, not his mother. I don't know what he does when he's not on CP. Ask him. I sent him a message after that, but he never got back to me.

No need to get defensive, I'm just trying to figure out what is going on with you two. You have to admit that it's pretty weird that he wouldn't even mention it to you. He had to log on to see the invite and accept the offer, it wouldn't have been that hard to tell you about it as well.
