Close enough. Or is that being too hyper-defensive for you?

Just trying to come up with theories instead of blind finger pointing.
No, not hyper-defensive. But doing a vote for me just because I questioned you isn't using your head.

This was updated at 6:10pm tonight. Looks like Starseed joined the Eternals.
If what my invite said was correct, Starseed now has a Ninja kill. He has a free, untrackable night kill.

Is a ninja kill what squiggs had?
2 guardians, 2 eternals.
Everyone has been invited, right?
Who's had 2?

I believe Squiggs had a DayVig, much like if not the same as what Wood's power was. His was used during the day out in the open and you could see he could use it. http://mafiawiki.notesmash.org/wiki/Vigilante
Ninja is used at night and isn't traceable to the killer: http://mafiawiki.notesmash.org/wiki/Ninja
Everyone has had at least one invite I believe. I've had 3 invites. Two from the Guardians, one from the Eternals.

Starseed, you've been fairly protective of the Eternals despite your own partner saying they are useless and screwed her over. Why the difference in opinion? Why the watch over Eternals' numbers and concern of Puxlut being the last one? Did you and Pux discuss this at all before you joined?

Feeling like game over.
Again, pux is the last eternal, so I volunteer to step into the guillotine.

I guess it is less necessary now that there are two eternals, but I would still be more comfortable being down 1 guardian than 1 eternal.

You actually said the powers failing are par for the course:

Oling has probably always been on my radar, and with the squiggs kill, I was even more confident.

This was Puxlut's suggestion when I got the Guardians invite she thought was Eternals:

I just can't understand why you joined. And why you are so concerned with the Eternal's numbers and not wanting just one left.

Well I didn't expect something like this coming home after hockey. Just when you think the cult stuff has calmed down a bit they kick it up a notch.

See, we all agreed not to join any more cults and the agreement was we lynch whomever does. I turned down a cop power last day after discussing it with the board. Great, so now the scum have another extra night kill? Time to end the MOT charade that has been nothing but a town killer.

If starseed is mafia and has a night kill this is a disaster.
Are starseed and Puxlut the only people to get invites to switch cults?

starseed has been actively protecting Puxlut
He also was a driving force in MOT
He attack those who point at Puxlut
He has stated he was worried about win conditions Guardians vs Eternals
Switches Factions.
Receives what? possibly a ninja kill. With starseeds and MOT record of accusations a kill is not a good thing even if he is town.
Why?
All of this looks to be protective of Puxlut and the Eternals IMO. I am coming to the conclusion that starseed has a different win condition than us townies, and he is leading us away from Puxlut.

If starseed is town and has the same win condition as us he hasn't put himself in a good spot with accepting the invite.
If he is scum and has a kill and uses it we are likely down to 4-2, and him and Puxlut have a vote on Timbo already. If he is some other alignment and has a different win condition than us then I don't know what the implications are.

According to Drury's last invite it said that if he didn't accept they would offer the same power to the next person, at least that's how I read his pirate speak.

They say th' Guardians brin' deception 'n choas. They brin' justice 'n clarity.

Th' hidden enemy thin' ain't thar concern. Thar concern be more ambitious. Thar be honest too.
They 'ave proven thar gifts work. If ye speak about yer gift, 'twon't work as th' world be corrupted by power. Squiggs gift worked 'cause he didn' speak o' it. He showed leadership 'n made a fair 'n jus' decision.
They offered me a power t' show me leadership. 'n believes I could put it t' great use. If I decline, they warn me they be offering this power t' another scallywag who may use it on me.

Th' power offered t' me was Ninja. If ye look at th' definition on th' link posted by Mazrim, 'tis clear wha' type o' power 'tis. It be a scurvy dog power. http://mafiawiki.notesmash.org/wiki/Ninja
Th' description they provided t' me about th' power stated I would be able t' scuttle at night without detection from tracker or watchers, but th' town would be able t' protect themselves through normal means. I be nah sure why I would be aimin' this power at the town. Or why th' sender would wants t' clarify th' town could protect themselves.
They made a comment earlier in thar message that I didn' really understand or put a connection t' 'til I read th' description o' th' Ninja power. They said that they know I be hidin' in th' daylight. I don't understand wha' this means as I be nah a scurvy dog 'n I 'ave done anythin' but hide. I reckon this invite came from someone who doubts me alignment. Which I didn' reckon were many, but I can reckon o' one scallywag whose been public about it.
I be nah sure that th' sender o' these messages are scum themselves, although they be referrin' to the darkness and hidden enemies in the message, but based on the power I be offered 'n th' comments from them, I reckon they be crimpin' fer them or some sort o' anti-town condition.
Havin' seen messages from both groups, I be satisfied wit' me decision t' nah join either. I reckon th' "pure" townies needs t' stay this way.

Two reasons:
1) I was told in my letter that if I rejected the gift, it would be offered to someone else. Starseed has the next invite.
2) Reasonable assumption as the Eternal's gifts so far, with the exception of GP_Matt, have all been kills.
GP_Matt - Lynchproof
ECF - Poison
Puxlut - Arson
Formulate - Dayvig or something similar because he shot GGG after the hammer
Squiggs96 - Dayvig
Me - Ninja (offered and rejected)
Rathji - Dayvig (offered and rejected)
I don't think I'm reaching too far in believing that Starseed was given a kill from the Eternal's.
