Link? I don't know much about baseball prospects at all, but the "C" they got really looked like a reach which is just really really annoying. When the pitcher the Yanks got at #30(?) was the second best pitching prospect and went that late, a lot of teams will be kicking themselves in the hind for just giving the Yanks more of an arsnel down the road.

Jays have a serious lack of Catchers in the organization. Its no surprise they took a Catcher with a high pick. The rumour was the Jays were after the Catcher who was taken at the #15 spot 1 spot ahead of the Jays.

Perhaps, but everybody know the Yanks will trade him for somebody else's over-priced, over-rated talent at the trade deadline.

That prospect the Yanks took wasn't the 2nd best prospect....
That guy went to the tigers and the reason why he went that late was he wanted 10 million as a signing bonus.

The guy the Yanks took was one of the best and a Boras client. He was a risky pick though, he has an absolutely electric 97MPH fastball, but has had some injury concerns.
High Risk/High Reward guy.

McGowan is pitching a gem so far, the kid has top of the rotation stuff and I'm really happy he's starting to find his command.
On the topic of the draft, the Jays did absolutely fantastic this year. Both Baseball America and Baseball Prospectus have stated the Jays had the best draft of any team this year and I tend to agree. They really mixed it up and I'm happy with the guys they ended up with (I have a feeling Justin Jackson will end up being a great pick).

Yep.
It's about time for Wells to step up in the 9th inning and do something. The guy has been terrible this season.

Stairs with a bomb to tie it!
I'm waiting till the end of the game to go for a run, this better not go into extra innings.

What a beauty of a game! Off to extras (sorry Cerebral, substitute that run for a brew).

Gregg Zaun drives home McDonald in his first at-bat of his return (pinch-hitter).
3-2 Jays with 2 outs in the top of the 10th

On an unrelated note...this A's/SF game is quite something if you can get it.

League can't get healthy fast enough, the shine is starting to wear off of Accardo.

2.36 But your point is well taken. He's only given up runs in 3 games.
I think I just have a mistrust of everyone in the Jays bullpen.
