The most beautiful game in the world was tarnished because of dirty Italians and Frenchmen in the Finals. Divers, whiners and complainers in the final, disgusting. How did Zidane get player of the tournament over Klose and Buffon?

Thats puzzling. 2 of Zidane's goals were on penalty kicks.

the writers saw what he did to Materazzi and were afraid to vote for anyone else.

Is it just me or did anyone find the games got more boring as the tournament went on? Too bad the teams with more offensive fair went out early. I hope team don't take this year as an example of how to do well and play defence at all cost style.

Also bad luck overloaded the brackets. With France, Brazil, Spain and Portugal on one side and only Argentina on the other with more attacking tactics.

No way. As the tournament went on the games got more exciting.

IMO, the best pool games were Australia/Croatia and Germany/Poland. Then as it progressed things got better! Germany/Argentina, Brazil/France, England/Portugal, Italy/Germany, Italy/France were all very excellent games.
